Failed after two years. The Amazon listing provides for an 8 year Warranty when it should disclose this warranty is a “Pro-rated 8 hear Warranty.” So, after two years of service they will only cover 60% of the replacement cost. Carefully consider the warranty and the longevity of this unit.

I bought this salt chlorine generator in may ‘21. In October’23 the light came on showing low cell life. I made a call today and explained what was happening. They are sending me a free replacement. Great company that stands behind their product. Will definitely buy compupool from now on!!!!

I’ve had my 40k gallon in ground for 10 years now and have bought 3 aqua rite/ gold line/ Hayward, ( they must keep changing their manufacturer names to keep people buying)motherboards and 8 new cells, again, all the same manufacturer.that’s one cell per season. The third one died, wanted a new system, researched and found this system. The core 55 is perfect for my size pool, i always size up, and for the cost of the unit, if and when I have to change the cell, it’s worth the extra hundred or so dollars. All you have to do is look at the price of cells, which you will have to replace frequently with the other brands( if you have one, don’t waste money on cleaning solutions and other stuff, it’s dead), just spend that extra money, buy this and all will be good. I don’t work for these people, just extremely happy with this machine after all the runaround and money spent with the other companies very hard to reach customer service. As far as I know it’s a good DIY warranty and hope never to use it.

Installation was a breeze. Oversized for our pool because of our landscaping. Generates more than enough, generally run it at 50% 8 hrs a day.Issue with cell just shy of a year in. Called customer service - one phone call, verified info and the problem. Already have a new cell on the way.

My first core 55 used two cartridges very quickly. I bought the second one hoping it will last longer?
