Hurricane clips
Used them for my hurricane shutters at my house. They really do the job protecting my house during hurricane season

Clips seem to be pretty durable, haven’t put them up yet but they fit perfectly onto 1/2” plywood so it shouldn’t be an issue to install.

Good to have ahead of time
Glad I have them in advance for the next hurricane adventure. Haven't had to use them yet. Better than having to use screws and drills if you have the right kind of windows.

Installation not easy
I was hopeful that this seemed like an easy installation for me as one person. However, between the weight of the wood and the extra width of the clips it proved disappointing. My area of Florida has been hit by 3 hurricanes and I have the plywood ready, but these clips are not working for it's purpose of protecting my windows.
