Works quickly
This heater works quickly and must be watched as it is used! Can quickly boil water coffee and tea, to the pint of boiling liquids out of cups! Never plug in before submerging in liquid! Usually takes 2-4 minutes to heat a cup of liquid has a clip to mount on lip of cup/container! Time saving and very useful!

Simple and it works well
I have had this tea heater for over eight years. I travel a LOT (airline pilot) so I've used this hundreds of times at home and hotels without issue. I see a lot of 1 star reviews claiming it worked just 1 or 2 times then quit. This is my third heater and I realized the problem might be the unit being plugged in but not immersed. NEVER let this happen not even for a second and it might work forever like mine which is now my third (that's how I found out). Immerse in water BEFORE plugging it in and plug it out BEFORE removing it from water. I hope this helps.

Fast and efficient
This is replacing a more expensive Lewis and Clark one that although new and working, takes forever to heat up the water. This one is fast and does the job in half the time. I carry a small pouch with me with tea bags and this heater and enjoy a cup whenever I travel wherever I am. Just make sure you don't forget you have it plugged in because it does not turn itself off when the water is boiling and if the water boils away it will melt and that's dangerous! But that's true of all immersion heaters.

Good to heat water when camping
Used on van camping trip to heat water. Works well. Just be sure to put it in water before plugging in. A longer cord would have been a plus, but it worked fine for me.

Heats up quickly
I use this heat coil for traveling. I find it very convenient for me. It is light, small and easy to pack, and works great to heat up water on the go. It does get quite hot so you need to be mindful of you placement and the container, so don’t leave it unattended. But for the purpose of the product, I recommend it for heating water quickly. I would like to suggest that it should come with a heatproof carrier and an adapter when traveling in other countries.

Immersion Heater
I had one of these years ago and not sure where it ended up. This is great for heating water for just about anything. It will heat to boiling.
