Adorable addition to Christmas Village. Very detailed

This mailbox and dog figurine was a Christmas 2022 gift for my wife from our little boy. She has two of the Victorian Christmas village sets from the early 2000s that were originally sold at Sam's Club under the Member's Mark brand name. Figures and other accessories for those sets are very difficult to find because they were made to a much larger scale than the more common Christmas villages made by Lemax and Department 56. Though this figurine appears to my eyes to be even a little larger scale than the scale of the Member's Mark figurines in my wife's sets, it is close enough to not be too noticeable as long as it is on display towards the back of the villages. In my opinion it would be a little too large, scale-wise, for a Department 56 or Lemax Christmas village.I have provided a photo of this mailbox and dog figurine next to two of the Member's Mark figurines to give an idea of how they look side by side. Note how the height of the red mailbox is the same as the height of the woman wearing the yellow hat. Keep in mind that the scale of the Member's Mark figurines is much larger than the scale of the more common Lemax and Department 56 figurines so the mailbox would tower over the adult figurines made by those companies.I also provided a photo of this figurine as it is currently on display in my wife's Christmas village. Its larger scale is not too noticeable when it is not right next to the other figurines. It does not look too large when placed next to the buildings, as shown in the photo.The mailbox certainly does not fit in with the old Victorian style/timeline of my wife's villages but that's OK. It was a gift from our son so she can overlook those details. The overall detail in the figurine is very nice though and everyone in my family likes how it looks.Overall this is a nice figurine and the only real downside of it is its large scale. If you can overlook that, then it will look nice in any Christmas village display.
