Save that expensive lazyboy.....
We bought the 21" set of 4 for my lazyboy. I already had 2 of the springs that I had welded pieces cross several times and when a 3rd spring broke...it seemed time to replace them all! This set of 4 was closest to the length of my originals. I also ordered "House2Home Upholstery Stay Wire for Sofa Furniture Springs, 20ft with 40 Clips, 16 Gauge" so that I could put some the cross wires back to keep the springs in place. That is a nice kit! The installation was smooth and finished within a hour.Easy way to do this is to reach along the lower back of the back and pull the levers on each side then lift the back off. Flip the bottom over and use a T25 Torx and a 16" extension and undo the 8 screws holding the bottom cushion to the frame and the 4screws holding the leg cushion to the arms. You can then put the cushion somewhere flat to work on it. Just twist the flat steel brackets with a set of channel-locks that hold the spring to the smaller coil springs...be careful the springs will want to coil back up! If you don't order or have a spring stretcher...put the flat bracket on the coil spring and hook the flat spring into it. I was able,by putting weight on the frame to set the other end in the j channel. Put at least 4 cross wires in to hold the springs in place and force them to distribute the load. I mic'd these springs and they are .17 smaller in diameter than the original and so far, they seem to be very comfortable. My wife's chair still has the original springs and she's now eying my chair..( has already offered to switch..cause she's concerned I may not like it :)

Lazy Boy Chair
I like the value and quality of the springs. I broke 3 of them on my Lazy Boy Chair. I didn't want to get rid of it. This was a great way to repair my chair. I am glad that you provide these springs because I thought I would have to get rid of the chair. The brackets were not easy to get at for the springs. Also, the springs are very hard to stretch. I had to use a crow bar against the chair frame to strech them. I took all of my strength but don't try this at home. I've been in maintenance for over 20 years. You might need to get the help of an assistant to help you hold the chair while you pull one of the springs into place. It can be done but it requires strength and skill. Hope this helps.

You have to stretch spring to get 21.5 inches
Can't beat the material for the price. Plenty of options to fix broken spring

Instructions would be nice
It would have been nice to have instructions included. I had to go back to the ad to see what needed to be done to fix my 1 spring that broke.
