The hive is sturdy and came at the expected time. It was missing a piece. I contacted the company and they responded with in a day and resolved the issue. I gave the craftsmanship a 3 star because one of the boxes is warped and doesn't sit flush, that makes the top sections teeter slightly. Also the paint job is thin and doesn't cover the joints very well. All simple fixes. Overall very satisfied

Since these units came fully assembled, there was no true assembly. The wood used in both the hive bodies and the supers was excellent, very few knots. The finish put on these units is beautiful. The foundation frames and wax covered foundation was also superior. Very handsome hives well put together. My bees seem quite content with their new homes. I am very happy with this product and will not hesitate to buy more when I need them.

The construction is good but when I paid extra to have them painted, I expected a better quality job done. Now I have to go back and paint it anyways to fix all the uneven spots and corners.

Very nice boxes, which were packed well. I would recommend this kit to anyone.
