Great but for one minor issue
Great camera bag with one minor issue. The leash "the part the screws into the tripod part of the camera and then clips to the strap" is a little short for me. I end up pulling the strap away from my body while holding the camera to my eye. This destabilizes it just a bit. If the leash were a bit longer it would still work inside the bag and less likely for someone who might bump my bag or bag strap to ruin my shot. In addtion I wouldn't mind a slightly longer main strap. The case is well made and pads the camera nice. The pockets are very nicely sized for extra batteries and SD cards. It would be nice if they make and actual SD card holder right in the outer side of one of the pocket flaps. I put batteries and SD cards in one pocket and my filters on the other side. if the has a small divider in the pockets that would be nice as well. I haven't seen the ability to order any extra leashes either. I would like that as well.If you have a Sony RX100 Mk1, 2 or 3, this case is perfectly sized for that model camera or other cameras its size. I even have a small grip and the lensmate filter adapter on the camera and it fits nice in here. Just a note that if you use the lensmate filter adapter I would suggest removing the filter part from the camera before putting it away. Less risk of peeling of the filter adapter. If you are extra careful each time it might be an issue but it is so easy to remove I do it each time. This case is a perfect for when I want the keep the camera discretely hidden yet easy to access. It protects the camera very well when not in use. I also have a form fitting, retro styled, leather case that I alternate using with this one. For my travel purposes this is the best I've found yet. I can squeeze my travel charger, charging cable, spare batteries and filters all in the case and take it all on a trip with me and just take out what I don't need for the day.

Almost there
This is a really nice bag and I enjoy using it. It's just the right size for a G15 and having the integrated "Rapid Strap" is fantastic. It holds very little beyond the camera itself - SD cards, extra battery, lens pen - nothing big. That is actually good since this setup is intended to replace the DSLR when I don't want to carry that. If it was bigger I'd just opt for the other camera & bag.My three gripes are:1. It's missing an alternative way to carry the bag when you decide to use the strap. You end up having to leave it somewhere and chase it down when you want to bag it again.2. No handle. It's annoying to grab out of the passenger seat and have nothing to grab but the long strap. Maybe this is nitpicky but I never grab the "right" part of the strap and end up dragging it across the seats.3. Using the strap mount when also carrying the bag works but it is a little fiddly to get it in and out. The concept is great but it could use some sort of refinement.Overall I recommend the bag and would buy it again.

Works great for my Canon Powershot 16...with some adjustments
Wow, this is an awesome camera case. It's just what I was hoping I'd find and I did, with the help of a Canon message board.I have a Canon Powershot 16 and was looking for a case that would be low-profile, easy access and would safely house my camera. I searched online and at camera supply stores. The case has more than enough room for my camera, and the sides open to reveal pockets that are large enough for a small wallet, memory cards, and the battery charger that came with my camera.I love the opening to retrieve the camera. It's dual zippers, one on each side, and a quick tug on the nylon strap opens both sides at the same time for easy and quick access. Perfect for someone like me who wants to get that quick shot without a lot of fussing or pockets. I can whip out my camera in an instant if I need to.The tether strap (note that there's also a wrist strap too). I'm not too keen on it, because it screws in where the tripod mount is a weak point in the design -since the camera will get used and twisted/turned around a lot, it's more likely to unscrew itself.I bought the BlackRapid RPB-1BB Snapr 20 (Black) kit (overpriced for what it is, but necessary), but found that it didn't work with the G16 because my camera has a recessed strap attachment and had to return it.I decided to work the smallest of the strap attachments around the recessed strap hardware on my camera and it's now tethered to it securely. The tether is really short. It requires some pulling of the strap in order to get the camera towards your face, as shown in the picture. It takes some getting used to, but I would definitely recommend giving this a try. It doesn't even bother me any more after months of use.One other thing -I actually had my camera in this and my daughter got sick and barfed on me (yes, kids do that). It was all over the case and I was wondering if it was salvageable. I ran it through a front-loading washer twice and air dried it. Can't even tell/smell that anything happened. I'm a fan!
