My co-worker received a minor burn on the hand while plugging an iPad into this charger. She yelled for my assistance and I found that the entire charge station was alarmingly hot. One of the USB ports and cables was charred/melted. If this had gone undetected, it could have presumably started a fire.To be fair, I'm not sure whether this incident was initiated by a problem with the charger itself, or perhaps a problem with the USB cable. Never-the-less, I'm giving it 1 star because I disassembled it and found no fuse element.Note that the USB charge station was plugged into a power strip with overload protection. That power strip was plugged into an outlet with GFCI protection. That outlet is part of a circuit that's protected by a 15 Amp breaker. However, none of these overload protections will trip until 15 Amps x 120 Volts = 1800 Watts. That's 150 times the rated power of the charred USB port (2.4 Amps x 5 Volts = 12 Watts)! As an engineer, it seems like a really good idea to include a fuse rated for 2 or 3 times the rated power.

The power cord for this device did not fit either the electrical outlet or the device. The cord would fall out with any slight movement. This device also has a blue light indicator at each end. The blue light interfered with sleep. Contacted the seller twice. First response was check that the cords were fully engaged....duh. When I send a second message noting that did not fix the problem I never heard back from them.

Purchased two of these units in July 2017. As many other reviews mention, station worked very well for about three months. Began to emit a high-pitched buzzing noise when plugged into outlet. Moved to a different (grounded) outlet and it blew the breaker. Would not recommend due to safety concerns. Manufacturers' replies to previous comments on this same issue indicate that each is a "very unusual" case. Perhaps when compared to overall sales, but I read at least 6-7 comments that mentioned the same issue in the first two minutes of reading through the most recent critical reviews. Wish I'd seen these comments before purchasing.

We hated all the long cables and the messy look of our two phones and a tablet being charged on our kitchen counter. Now with this new charging station, I absolutely love that I can now plug in my iPad without having to follow the cables. This is now making my life easier where I can just place them on the charging station and forget about them until I need them. It can hold my large iPhone 6 plus and my iPad too. I also bought 4 mini charging cables from Amazon. I now feel much comfortable with the fact that it has a built-in safety system that will not allow my devices to be overcharged. It gives me peace of mind knowing all of my devices are charged safely and organized beautifully on the kitchen counter.

I've been enjoying this charging station, but there are a few quirks involved here.Great:-Stand separators-Different voltage options-Good rubber grip on base-Very durableA little meh:-The blue light is very very bright. If this station is on your bedside lamp, you might have to cover it with a towel like I do. The light pollution in the room gets out of hand if I don't.-The stand separators fall out maybe a little too often-Coil feedback (the charging noise is very noticeable if you're sensitive to that sort of thing)Overall, good value, nice charging station. I did try to disassemble the station to get to the LED's in there to dim them a bit, but the build is just too durable, and the glue too sticky to access anything inside. I suppose this is a good thing. If the company ever offered a non-lighted version, I would certainly buy it.

After seeing all the positive reviews, I was looking forward to receiving this and finally organizing our charging area. Unfortunately I was one of the unlucky ones, as I plugged mine in to test it and nothing happened. No lights, no indication of phones charging. Hopefully this is an uncommon problem.

I have been liking for a way to keep several devices charged without having to have wires everywhere. We used to have a charging wire on each side of the bed, by her favorite chair and My favorite chair and, of course, a couple of charging stations near the TVs, in the car, etc. I began using portable battery backups and they have to be charged also. So this device is the answer that works for me. I can charge smart phones (currently Galaxy S-7s), auxiliary batteries, even our kindle fire HD 10s with their covers. The unit comes with two i phone compatible cords and two or three android compatible cords but you can easily buy more 6" cords of your choice on Amazon. For me, this device is a great amplifier. I've only had it for a week but it works great and i can't see how that would change. I highly recommend this device and would buy it again.

This is perfect for our needs... it isn't taking up a lot of space and the wires that come with it are on the back side so it looks neat when charging..... BUT I had some trouble with it staying charging. I re-plugged everything and they would have green battery lights, then go off. I finally unplugged the cord from the charger and turned it over. It seems to stay charging. Don't know if things just don't fit tight enough or if there is an internal problem. We aren't sending it back unless it keeps stopping the "charge", because I really like the size, convenience and design. It has an on/off button also. This problem could be just my unit and everyone that has bought one is having NO PROBLEM???If I keep having problems, I'll call the company because I like the product and price. But if it doesn't work, those are worthless..

Loved it but then realized that sometimes when plugging and unplugging the short lengths I inadvertently disconnected from the unit (without realizing it) because of the force with which one has to pull to disconnect. A bit difficult for larger hands.
