SL-7 is series. We need the more specific model number like SL-750TR-E.

No it controls the flame only. You need the RC300 remote to control the fan from the remote in conjunction with this.

Q: Will this work for a heat n glo tiara ii? i would love to be able to control our fireplace with an app.

The Tiara II has a standing pilot. The electronic version Tiara II - IPI used module number 2166-338.
