I am very happy with this carburetor. I have an harbour freight wood/brush chipper/mulcher, an older model 62323 with a predator engine. It used to start on the first pull and I used it for about three seasons before I got caught up enough to store it. It sat in storage, gas tank empty, for about four years. When I pulled it out to do some more work, try as I might I couldn't get it to start. Changed the plug, cleaned the carburetor, checked the electrical, nothing seemed wrong but it just wouldn't start. I eventually pulled the plug out, dropped a few drops of gas directly into the chamber, quickly put the plug back in and cranked it and it would start and run for nearly 30 seconds until the gas in the spark plug chamber ran out. I ordered this carburetor since it appeared to look exactly like mine. I also ordered another one from a different supplier just to hedge my bets. This one arrived first so I installed it right away. The chipper started up after the third pull and has started on the first pull every since. This carbonator for perfectly!I was very happy it fit and worked because when I was looking for a replacement carburetor I couldn't find one that included my model number for the predator engine that was installed. The only reason I choose this one was because looking carefully through the pictures, and very grateful those pictures were taken from all sides, this carburetor appeared to be a great match to the one on my machine. So if someone else is looking for a replacement carburetor for an older model of the harbour freight wood chipper (model 62323) this carburetor will fit it like a glove.

My engine would not start. Easy swap out! YouTube can help if necessary. The Alpha Works engine is basically a 212cc Predator with different label. You will find very little info on Alpha Works....but, there is a ton on the Predator! It is a 20-30 minute job and this new carburetor will get you running--or running a whole lot better. Mine started first pull, yours will too. Out of the box, the settings on the carb were right on, I haven't had to touch anything. I don't know if my engine has ever run this good.

I put this carburetor on an Earthquake rear tine tiller with the 212 cc viper engine. It fit directly and the motor started on the first pull. This is not the exact replacement. The carburetor that was on the tiller had a spring on the throttle connection to moderate the throttle based on the load on the engine. It isn't necessary on this unit since you pretty much have to run it full open when you're tilling anyway. This was a cheap fix that worked fine.

Direct replacement, 10 minute install, back up and running.
