Awesome knock off!
We purchased these to replace some damaged PS3 controllers. These work great and are a steal for the price! The joy sticks are a little stiff, but like with any controller I'm sure they will soften over time. They are nice and small and even work well for our kiddos :)

Decent Substitute
These third party controllers work great on my PS3. Fully functional as a normal controller - just keep in mind they have different button art than OEM controllers.

Right trigger has no sensitivity, ends up going all or nothing.
What it says on the tin. Purchase made/Item received Jan. 2024. Left trigger has a decent amount of sensitivity, but right trigger is all or nothing with no in between. Still nice overall, just don't go thinking you're gonna play a racing game with super fine controls.

They work - mostly
Overall, they are usable. Since I've just received them, I don't know how good the battery life is or how durable they are, and both of these are important factors for a PS3 controller for me. I currently have some Sony PS3 controllers which behave erratically if you apply any amount of torque on the controller itself (which is easy to do while gripping it during a game), and needed replacements for them. I also wanted various colors so each of my kids could have their own that they were responsible for. These Kolopc's seem to work for that purpose. I also haven't had a chance to check out how well the sixaxis works yet. Here are my initial observations after using them (heavily) for the first weekend:Pros:- They fit nicely into my dreamGear Quad Dock (https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B001FWK340/ref=oh_aui_search_asin_title?ie=UTF8&psc=1) for recharging- Their "hand-feel" was very much like the Sony controllersCons:- Controllers will randomly "lock-up" while playing. Doesn't happen often, but the controller became unresponsive for a while and even the PS3 button didn't bring up the system menu- Their range doesn't seem to be very far - they stopped working when I put my hands behind my head (yes, I play that way sometimes)- I had to re-pair one of them with the PS3 using the cable after it had turned itself off due to inactivity- Their charging lights are always on and blinking while in the charger - even after fully charged.- The dual-shock vibration feels a little weak compared to what I'm used to.

Work great
These were cheap, have a good weight, and feel very much like the original. I haven't had them long but they immediately synced with the ps3 and after a few hours of play they feel as they should.

Cheap, not in a good way
These are just cheap controllers. I ordered two sets, for a total of 4 controllers. Red/Blue worked fine, battery life is about half OEM but that's not a deal breaker. Silver/Gold has been a different story, Silver had issues with non-functional buttons on the right pad. No biggie, I'll have Amazon send a replacement. Well, it arrived with the exact same problem. I then look at reviews to see I'm not the only one with this exact same issue. I'm guessing the factory run of silver was just terrible quality. To add to the fun, there seems to be no indication when these are fully charged, they just flash when plugged in, 12 hours later they still are flashing in the same pattern. The short, if you only expect half the order to work and even then, only work with about half the battery life you expect these are the controllers for you. I'll be returning mine as if they can't work new I have no reason to believe they'll work later.Sad these didn't work, based on the rating I expected better.
