Smaller Than it Looks, Easy Install
My first impression of this camera was surprise at the actual size. It is quite small. I paired this camera with an Alpine iLX-507 head unit in a new install. I chose this camera because I wanted the option of a behind-the-license-plate-frame installation. Even with a license plate frame there was plenty of room for the camera to be installed.I also was intrigued by the AHD capability of this camera and the potential for 720p video. I could not find any technical information on my head unit whether or not it supports AHD. After trying AHD, the iLX-507 does not support AHD. However, I'm happy with the video quality at the default 480 video. The install was super easy, and made easier by the option to supply power to the camera either at the camera end- or at the head unit end. I chose to power the camera at the head unit end thereby avoiding the hassle of cutting into and splicing the backup light wires to power the camera. The ground must be done at the camera end, but that is easily done without cutting wires. The Alpine head unit I'm using is able to add its own guidelines on the video image, however I found the guidelines projected by the camera itself were a much better representation of where to direct the vehicle. The camera guidelines are at the lower portion of the video while the head unit lines were in the middle. I ended up turning off the head unit guidelines. Finally, I was pleased to find the camera comes with a number of installation aids such as a plastic interior panel removal tool, electrical tape, screwdriver, etc.

Amazing quality as always!!
Have bought Natika cameras in the past before so went back for another for my new (to me) truck. The ones I’ve bought in the past required you to drill into the car so the camera could mount and look like OEM which was fine by me. This time around with my truck though mounting it on the tailgate was going to be cumbersome so I ordered this one instead since it came with a license plate bracket. As always the camera and bracket were very good quality and as a bonus the bracket tucks behind the license plate rather than sit in front so it’s very discreet. Quality as always looks very sharp and amazing for the price and night time looks good too!

Amazing picture. Great for both rear and front!
This HD backup camera works really well with the ATOTO S8 Gen2 stereo and gives a great HD picture. The camera is tiny and it comes with a solid stainless steel bracket that goes behind the license plate. It also works if you have a license plate frame. The extension wire is really long, so when you've got it in and working, you may need to cable tie things up for the excess.Picture comes on really quickly. I have it hooked up to turn on when the car is in reverse. Fortunately the stereo harness I used already had a cable for power and reverse on signal, so I didn't need to wire it to the rear light in anyway for that. You can also (using this stereo at least) go to a menu item and just turn it on.Also i mounted the other one same model NATIKA HD front view camera on my front grill (on top of the Toyota logo) and is perfect!can see all my stuff that I put on my front hitch. Is awesome and it was easy to install, I didn't have to use the red power wire at the extension wire side, just connect the black wire to a nut as GND source , and at the radio unit i just use the red trigger wire as power pole + to stereo and yellow male RCA connector to the female of harness from stereo , awesome, love this camera as front camera , and the other one WD-779 backup camera I set it on the rear and loving it so far.

An awful camera with no technical support!
The media could not be loaded. If you want a aweful camera with zero support from the seller than this is the camera for you! Installed it as soon as it arrived and ugly blue, red and green horizontal bars appeared on the picture. Anything that is color and picked up by the camera, strobes in technicolor. I have it properly grounded and the setting is correct on the headunit. Nothing fixes it. I believe the CCD sensor is no good. I also tried in the settings to switch it to TVI 720 P and it got rid of the color bands but made the whole camera in black and white. I set it back to AHD 720p 30FPS and the color bands appear again. I know it's the camera because I have the same camera on the front of my car and it's just fine. Seller kept saying no it's not my camera it's someone else's and I literally sent videos and pictures of it several times. He says no its not our the lines are different. Well guess what when you cut the purple wire to make it AHD signal, the camera lines dissappear. So I turned on my headunits built in overlay lines and he's using that as the excuse of why it's not his camera when I literally just bought it two days ago. Never again Natika, I've bought several cameras from you but NEVER again.*****I have updated my review as they did reach out and refund my order. The cameras are nice but this particular one didn't work. They sent me out a new one and it works amazing!

Excellect camera and package
Bought one of these for an Atoto headunit. Liked it so much, I bought another and use it under my Forester facing forward to view all 4 tires when offroading. They both are set to AHD and look great. I viewed them at 480p initially to see the difference, and it is major. I'm never going back to low res backup cameras! One thing I wish was different, for my needs, would be if the camera power wire ran back to the RCA port, since it's of course easy and convenient to tap into either constant or acc 12v while connecting the RCA to your head unit. Sure, I could have extended the power wire to run up to the headunit, but I didn't. Instead, I tapped into the wires running up to the 12v acc power outlet in the cargo area of my Forester. Luckily this wire was easy to access and nearby for me to use for the front-facing underbody camera.Rather than run a reverse-light wire from the rear of the car to the head unit, I utilized the short trigger-wire near the RCA port. This method works great unless you have ACC power ran to your backup camera and want to use it for LRV or whatever it's called (live rear view).
