Cute counting book
I ordered this book for my 18 month old daughter who is at the age where she is interested in all animals and at the age where I want to expose her to numbers and counting. I downloaded the book easily and quickly onto my tablet and used the Kindle app. It is important to note that the option was not available to download the book onto my Kindle Paperwhite presumably due to the fact the book is full of colorful images. The book is short with a total of 16 pages with one number per page as well as a couple "quiz" pages at the end. The length is perfect for my toddler whose attention span is extremely short! Each page shows the number, writes out the number, has an image of a hand with that many fingers up and has pictures of that many animals. The only thing I really didn't like is that the picture of the animals often covered up the number so it was hard to see. I know what the bottom of the numbers look like, but my 18 month old daughter does not so I would have preferred them to show the whole number. The quiz pages I referenced above simply gave a picture of animals and asked how many there were. Overall, I would recommend this book to any parent. Its great for younger children to learn the numbers and counting.Pros:1) This is short book but full of lots of information per page..2) The book is full of cute, colorful images of animals and each number is in a bold color.3) The reading is easy and quick.Cons:1) The pictures of the animals cover up the bottom of the numbers.I received this ebook for free in exchange for my honest review.

FUN and COLORFUL!
This review is for the Kindle edition of “One Little Piggy: Counting Books for Toddlers: Early Learning Books K-12 (Baby & Toddler Counting Books) Kindle Edition by Speedy Publishing LLC.I ordered this book to read to my 2-year-old granddaughter and 3-year-old grandson when they came to visit. They enjoyed the fun, right pictures and counting along with me. We counted the little bug/animals AND we counted the fingers, although the animals were easier for them, of course. They were able to see what the numbers look like and how they are spelled (for a bit older child). The pictures in this book are really bright, interesting, and engaging. They loved the book and, since we usually read paper books, learning to “turn the page” electronically was great fun for them as well. They took turns changing the pages very well and loved doing it.Overall, this is a great learning tool. I’m sure we will be reading this again soon AND I will also read it with my 5-year-old great nephew next time he comes over as well. This book covers a good age range and will be quite beneficial to him as well. Looking forward to more reading and snuggle time with our little treasures. Thanks for making it especially fun!Note: I did receive this Kindle edition of “One Little Piggy: Counting Books for Toddlers” by Speedy Publishing LLC free in exchange for my unbiased and honest review. Great book for toddlers
I have read a lot of kindle books and some of them are hit and miss on the content that you get inside of them. So you never know what you are going to get. But this book actually delivers what it says it is going to. So you don’t have to worry that you are not going to get what you pay for. Also you don’t have worry that you are going to get something that is not age appropriate or something that is designed for older children. This is designed for babies and toddlers just like it says it is. This counting books is exactly like is says it is. It has numbers one through ten. It has the numbers with fingers that has them holding up the number of fingers. Then on the opposite page it has the number with the number of animals. So they are able to see the number and put together how much it is. Number and number quantifying is an important skill to learn. Then on the following pages they have how many animals do you see? So you can go through and ask them how many they see. I really like this book and it is one of the better children books that I have seen on kindle. It is one that I would actually read to my children or to my classroom. It has some great illustrations I have received a discount for my honest review. The opinions and statements are my own and are in no way biased because of said discount.

Cute counting book, has nothing to do with pigs!
Ok... here's my issue.... while this book does have cute pictures in it and clearly shows the numerical value of things, it has NOTHING to do with pigs! Now, I understand the whole calling fingers "piggies" or whatever, but when I looked at the title of the book and saw the three cute pigs eating watermelon, etc, I thought, "oh, this book will be cute".... not a single pig is in this book! I don't know if the first animal is a pig or not... looks like a hairy bear-pig thing, but the rest of the bugs and animals counted throughout the book are rather cute. But still... if you're going to title and design a children's book in this manner, at least have one pig in there somewhere! One thing I did like about this book was the section at the back that had a little counting quiz for kids. It's a good way for your child to practice their counting. You can also ask your child which animal they see, what color(s) they are, etc...Overall, cute book, but the whole cover and title throws you off if you're expecting a book about pigs. Don't get this book for a child who loves pigs, they will be disappointed, unfortunately.I received this book for free for my honest review.
