Ordered this for my son and his girlfriend for Christmas to go in their new grinders. Before the product even shipped, Lifestyle Dynamics sent me an email thanking me for purchasing their Pure Himalayan Salt and letting me know about the e-recipe book that came with the purchase that was available for download. Such a nice gesture and I passed on the info about the e-recipe book to my son and his girlfriend after Christmas.The Pure Himalayan Salt is amazing!!! It makes food taste so much better, you won't believe the difference from table salt and will wonder why you didn't buy this sooner!!! The color is so beautiful in our salt grinder, such a gorgeous shade of pink!!! I told my son and his girlfriend (who are both college students), that when they/we run out, I will buy more from Lifestyle Dynamics. I will always have Pure Himalayan Salt in our house from now on!!!I recommend this to everyone!!!

This is my first time using Himalayan salt, but the product arrived on time and appears to be of good quality. I haven't actually put any in my grinder yet, but don't anticipate any problems. I did taste the salt though, and I was very pleased with the flavor. I think a little of it will go a long way when seasoning my foods. The only negative was the packaging by Amazon. They packaged the salt with a couple of other items I had ordered (that had pointy edges) so I lost some of the salt due to a rip in the bag. Thankfully, not much was lost, but I hope Amazon will take more care next time. Since I couldn't use the nice, reseal-able original packaging, I put the salt in a Lock & Lock storage container which is air tight. Overall, I'm very pleased with this salt and would order it again.

Not only is this salt a beautiful color, the flavor is so much fresher than table salt or sea salt. I put it in a salt mill w a glass cylinder and it looks great on my counter. I experimented with several degrees of grinding but decided on extra fine for fresh dressings and salsas so you don't bite into a large grain and so it blends easily with the fresh ingredients, and a coarser grind for stews and cooked sauces to give it time to dissolve and develop its flavor. You dont need nearly as much to season food as you do of sea or kosher salts, so experiment w it in your mill before you use it in cooking. I love it!

The delivery was fast thanks to being a Prime member. The salt arrived unscathed, although I can see how some people get a busted or open bag. Mine arrived in a loosely packed box along with another item. The salt was mostly not clumped, a few small clumps were present. The salt is very salty so use less than you think, you can always add more. The salt has a nice flavor once you adjust.Mostly I purchased this salt to restructure my homemade distilled water. It only takes a small pinch to raise the Total Dissolved Solids reading on my meter 0 ppm to 75 ppm or so. Any more and the water tastes salty. Like the fact that this salt is returning "Trace Natural Minerals" back into my distilled water, after the distillation process removes all the toxic chit from my tap water. I paid $6.6x for mine 1 pound bag. It looks very similar to the Pink Himalayan Salt at the grocery store which is $9 for 10 oz.I wish there was a list of the trace minerals available, That is why I gave the item 4 stars instead of 5 stars. If Amazon had a 4.5 star rating that is what it would have received.

I have been in the "no added salt" mode of cooking and eating for the last few years but was intrigued by the Himalayan salt. A pretty shade of pink, it adds a bit of class to my table. It grinds easily and has a light but distinct flavor. A bit of natural salt makes a big difference in the flavor of food and after dinner a scoop of the rocks makes a soft and relaxing foot soak. I use this as a table salt for the mineral content and health benefits. I've always used regular table salt, but I noticed changes in my thyroid and started having problems when I started using salt without iodine. I turned to pink Himalayan salt after researching the health benefits. I know this salt won't cure my problems but it makes me feel better about using it, knowing it is providing nutrients instead of just pure sodium.

hi!! i would like to say that, this Pink Himalayan Salt is the BOMB!! it is soooo good, that i have shared it with my colleagues and had hooked them too on it!! i used it on all of my dishes, and i even put a tiny bit on my coffee and tea from time to time, cause i had hear that is good for the well being. I came back to buy a new bag after running out, and discovered it’s been almost 4 years since I bought the first bag! No complaints! It’s worked out great in my OXO salt grinder all this time. Definitely recommend it!
