Step 4. Place your trays in the freezer and let them sit for at least 6 hours. In order to prevent from creating an ice block, stack it with a heavy item. Step 5. Twist, open, and remove your new 3D ice cubes! ➤Make Every Last Beverage Sparkle & Shine (Tip 1) How to avoid ice block between the trays: If your skull ice cubes don't look good, it is because the grooves on the joint area were not sealed completely. To seal them, place the trays on a flat surface. Wrap each cavity with two hands (up and down) and press inwards until the two grooves on the joint area are sealed. (Tip 2) Altering the tiny spilling holes to dime sized filling holes: The tiny holes on top are not filling holes. These are designed to work as spilling holes for excessive liquid to come out. If you want to use them as filling holes, you may easily cut each hole to a dime size with an ordinary scissor. In this way, you may pour anything through these holes. (Tip 3) How to make clear ice cubes: If you use regular tap water, you will get cloudy ice cubes because the air in water makes patterns when freezing. To make clear ice cubes, we recommend that you use filtered water and boil twice - let it cool down the first time but keep it hot after the second time of boiling. (Tip 4) How to remove white film from the trays: Prepare 7-8 cups of water, 2-3 tablespoons of baking soda, 1/3 cup of vinegar and a soft toothbrush. Fill your sink with this stain removal solution. Soak your trays in it and brush them using the soft toothbrush until the white film goes away.
