Definitivamente un dispositivo diseñado para trabajar perfectamente con la detección de manos, es muy preciso y funciona excelente.

Works as intended, but after a week it starts to overheat quiet easily.But still functional.

En la actualidad, este producto funciona muy bien. Me explico: es cierto que hasta hace poco era decepcionante como la gente dice por aquí, pero la última versión de su software/firmware ha cambiado completamente el producto. Ahora, captura de forma muy precisa el movimiento de las manos en la mayoría de las situaciones. Yo tengo un Oculus Rift DK2, y le da una nueva dimensión a la Realidad Virtual.Eso sí, hay que tener claro que hay muy poco software pensado para Leap Motion (básicamente, desarrollos propios). Aun así, si tienes un DK2 o algo superior, por lo que cuesta merece la pena. Si no... bueno, es un juguete muy curioso. Veremos si desarrollan juegos y aplicaciones que lo aprovechen.Lo mejor: No sale caro, como complemento de RV es muy buenoLo peor: Poco software que aproveche sus posibilidades.

Prodotto innovativo, fantastico per chi lo usa per la musica, consiglio di affiancarlo all'app "geco" che traduce i movimenti delle mani in messaggi midi. Davvero, le potenzialità di quest'oggetto sono infinite! Sò che si può anche abbinare all'oculus rift, per esperienza di realtà virtuale! Oppure ci sono tante app, anche gratuite che permettono di gestire le applicazioni senza l'utilizzo del mouse, direttamente con i gesti delle mani. Nel mio caso ho acquistato un prodotto usato che si è rivelato privo di difetti e in condizioni pari al nuovo. Veramente un ottimo acquisto che consiglio a tutti

I got LeapMotion about two weeks after the launch, and like most people became sceptical following the mixed reviews. I'd like to say first and foremost that most of these bad reviews are naive, unjustified and unfair. As soon as I started playing with Leap Motion my faith was restored - thankfully!I'm sure that 90% of the bad reviews came from non developers, people who just expected to pick this up and never have to use a mouse again, that it would be as flawless as Minority Report and generally work perfectly from the offset. This kind of device is relatively new and therefore this was never going to be the case. As a would-be developer myself I fully appreciate the technical challenge that the team at Leap Motion have overcome and understand that it will take time to improve. I just wish other people would understand this as well.So should you buy one? Well, if you're expecting a mouse replacement then no. But if you appreciate great innovative technology, want a new creative way to interact with your computer, fancy yourself a developer and want to get ahead of the game, or simply have a bit of fun with some really cool apps then most certainly yes. And at £70 you can't really complain.
