This book was recommended. However, I think that I have been in industry too long as I had seen most of these jigs and fixtures over time and so it ended up not having much new information for me. I hadn't really every classified them into types and so that was a new thought. This would be a good college text book for students that had never been exposed to Jigs and Fixtures. Of course it is also a little dated at this point.

This text is directed towards students or professionals new to jig and fixture design. The author covers a broad range of fixturing and workholding principles without delving into advanced topics. I would recommend this text for someone new to the trade, but it was not much use to me as a seasoned designer.

I find this a useful book to dip into from time-to-time as different projects come-up and on this basis can recommend it.

Horribly outdated and a very poorly printed book. But is as described, comes in good condition, and gets the job done.
