2 years of use - amazing experience
As I said I got this monitor two years ago and it’s been serving me well. Great response time for IPS, top tier colour accuracy and overall a premium product.I don’t think I’d get this over the 2k Oled monitors today, but if you can’t stretch for those models this monitor is amazing.

Quality
A good investment to a gaming setup. Was worried I'd need a 32" but actually, this fits well and doesn't look out of place. A quality build and very nice looking screen.

Great not sure what the 1 stars are about
Having just downgraded in away from a 4k HDR600 10bit panel due to overheating problems I can honestly say I have no idea what the deal is with ghosting being "horrendously" bad because there is non. I mean I haven't detected any issues with this monitor at all. It looks great and is what I expected coming from my previous Philips Momentum 32inch monitor. The colours are good not quite as good as a 4k 10bit panel but very acceptable. Turning HDR on didn't have any adverse effects either. you get a little difference in windows SDR background colours as expected but gaming is good don't get me wrong its not perfect but its a £399 monitor My philips HDR600 would blind you in colour and explosions in game and looked fantastic but this is a little toned down as expected. I haven't got the budget for a better HDR experience atm and the recent fault with my philips monitor meant I was more or less forced to go for this monitor instead as I was offered a refund and the price of the philips had gone up over £100 more. This is a great monitor for the price and is very smooth in game. I enjoyed gaming on 4k but the 60hz and lack of graphics power on ultimate settings in bf led to a few less than desirable frame drops. I'm gonna let the fact that monitor was shipped with the wrong kettle lead slip as I have a spare lead that fitted the power brick, but this was a bit of a fail. I understand these are probably slipped in after manufacture and I have had similar issues in past with incorrect leads shipped with stuff. No Biggy anyway if I didn't have a spare I'd have wired a new plug onto the continental lead supplied. As normal with these things make sure you download the drivers and optional software to access monitor functions. the driver has the correct colour profile that needs to be installed!!. After setting the profile in windows calibration and turning on HDR you just need to enable the 165hz and enjoy.

great for xbox series x
this monitor was bought to use with an xbox series x as hdmi 2.1 monitors are a ridiculous price and are simply not worth it . i can confirm that i have my xbox running at 120fps 1440p and vrr on , you cannot however have hdr and vrr on due to the limitations of the hdmi port , but the implementation of hdr on monitors is generally not good anyway . the monitor had only one part to install and was easy to set up , as this is an rog monitor it looks amazing and has some very impressive rgb lighting . the monitor has full positional movement on the stand , and comes with not only a joystick for menus on the back but also some shortcut buttons as well . the curve of the screen is well done and i have not noticed any distortion on the screen , the response time is excellent and the menus have any adjustment you can think of in them . the picture is sharp , bright and colorful , watching apps such as amazon and youtube can be viewed in 4k as the monitor does downscale to 1440p and the results are great to watch . i have not looked for backlight bleed as this monitor is in a very bright room and i would not notice it anyway . playing games such as halo infinite , psychonauts 2 and forza 5 have been a great experience and i have seen no blur at all and controller response time is great . whilst this monitor is by no means cheap it is highly recommended as both a console monitor and in the long run will probably replace my pc monitor as well

Good monitor
Really good monitor Excellent picture quality and it’s 165hz really good as well But only thing that could be better is the HDR and the back panel needed to move the cables about put it back on

What a let down. ROG Strix XG27WQ
Having myself buy the brand new 35in ROG Strix Monitor for my own use and being seriously impressed with everything about its performance, I thought "Why not treat my son to a smaller version as well", Oh boy what a mistake, How this XG27WQ got the name of ROG and Strix is a complete mystery because the "Ghosting" on it is outrageously bad, the only way to actually get the "Ghosting" to stop is to turn the refresh rate down to 60hz (from 165hz). I would urge extreme caution with this monitor, or better yet, walk away. Returned for refund.

came without a UK Power cable, got the wrong cable, it wasn't a clover style cable
Had to use an EU adapter because the cable provided does not mach the socket on the power brick, what was the point? nothing but E waste at this point....Other than that the monitor seems fine and is a great monitor.

Excellent
After several months of deliberation i finally pulled the trigger and bought this monitor in prime day. To be honest i have been deliberating about weather it was worth it to upgrade from my 165hz Acer Predetor XB273UGS and i couldn't have been more wrong. It is just a step better in everything, refresh rates, colour, motion handling it just has it all. I have noticed considerably less ghosting on this compared to the outgoing Acer. Overall very pleased and for anyone deliberating about purchasing, just do it you wont regret it.
