Chef'n FreshForce Hand-Held Slicer, Slices Mushrooms, Strawberries, Kiwis and More, Taupe

I recently saw an advertisement for this gadget. Given how much I love mushrooms, I read many reviews and decided to give it a try. I had 4 pounds of baby bella and white button mushrooms to clean and slice before the 2022 Thanksgiving holiday. I dreaded how long it was going to take to slice and chop up. So, I ordered this tool, which was delivered very quickly. I'm happy to say that I absolutely love, love, love this tool!!! It made very quick work of slicing all those mushrooms!!! I loved it so much that I bought one for my cousin which was delivered yo her the next day! Hints on using it successfully:1. Select mushrooms that fit nicely into the cutting area with a bit if room left around the inside border.2. Slightly press the mushroom into the cutting blades, cap side up, so that it seats nicely into the cutter.3. Use a quick motion to cut through the mushroom. This somewhat prevents the mushroom from getting mashed into the channels of the device.4. Rinse and clean out the tool using a kitchen dish brush and warm, soapy water as soon as possible after you're finished slicing your mushrooms. I found it extremely easy to wash and clean this tool since nothing was left to dry on the blades or within the slicing channels.5. Hang your tool on a hook in your pantry for storage. I does not fit well into a drawer.Enjoy this wonderful kitchen gadget!!! ♡

I wish I’d found this years ago! After storing separate slicers for different foods (strawberry, mushroom, egg), 2 of which wore out, this one slices them all and needs much less effort to do so, and it is extremely sturdy. This slicer should last a good long time. I’m anxious to try it with other foods as well.

I used this slicer to make sandwiches for a baby shower for over 50 people. It saved so much time. I love it!

Very sturdy. We had a series of those wire cutters. The wires inevitably snapped at some point. This one has blades instead of wires. Very durable.

I ordered a new mushroom slicer. When I opened the envelope, the slicer was not in original packaging. Rather, it was in a plastic bag that said, “Ready to Ship.” When I looked closely, I saw a remnant of molded food embedded and I also noticed obvious wear on the metal slicers. So gross and so disappointing.

Works well for slicing mushrooms, strawberries, eggs, etc. Be careful cleaning as the blades are SHARP!

I eat lots of eggs, and thought this might be a good alternative to the flimsy wire egg slicers that are always falling apart too soon. This is certainly sturdy enough, but the food gets caught around the edges.But for strawberries, mushrooms, items like that, it's not a bad item to keep in the kitchen drawer, albeit pricey for how often I need it for that purpose.

Chops mushrooms and boiled eggs well. The slices are a little wide for my preference, but it's not a big deal for me. Small mushroom or egg pieces can be hard to rinse from it during cleaning.
