Q: What size is the thumb pick?

Interesting---I did not receive any thumb picks in my accessory kit.

Q: What order does the colored strings go?

Using my caliper these are the string sizes in order by size. Red - 0.98mm Green - 0.96mm Gold - 0.76mm Blue - 0.68mm The two silver strings are 0.35mm and 0.30mm, but I don’t see any way to tell them apart unless you have a caliper too. Keep in mind these are the sizes of the strings that I received, and I don’t know how consistent the string sizes are going to be from one kit to the next. It is a cheap kit after all.

Q: I see no labels for the strings, how am I supposed to know the order the strings go in?

By the thickness. It is easy, but if u feel unsure you can watch one of several videos on YouTube.

Q: Will the strings work for a childs first act discovery acoustic guitar?

Yes! You just need to string it and cut any excess!
