Easy to install and program. Works like a charm. My only issues are with the strike plate for the door jamb and the plate by the latch.1: handles are dark bronze but the two plates are silver.2: Also their shape wouldn’t fit the standard ones that I replaced so had to break out the chisel to modify old holes. (If new construction it’s not a problem)

Okay, here goes my story with keyless entry locks finger print. I help a lot of people taking them into my home, more strangers right. I do have a good judge of character (all glory to God). My issue is food and there is things I want off limits. Well, no one ever does it, I have some kinda ghost in my house, that enjoys setting people up😅 Well, I finally got sick of playing the role of Matlock acting like Columbo. And started getting these locks for my doors, pantry, bedroom, garage, my no no zones. Guess what got these locks made the ghost mad and he left, be careful he might be looking for a new home. Now because of this I had so many locks. This one is THE BEST. I actually changes all my locks to this one. It's been so reliable over the years. The first I got was chargeable seemed good until I needed to charge it, what do you do take it off to charge cause there is no plugs by the lock. Then I got one with a pass code, so unreliable but thank God I didn't give up. And finally came across this. It's been three years now. And must of my locks have changed to this one. I have purchased 4 so far and now my mom said she has the same ghost setting up her innocent son and taking things out of her disabled daughter's room, my sister and got her one and the ghost left, funny thing, now her son is asking for things he needs 😆 The only issue I ever had with this is when the batteries start to die and I change them no more issue. I don't know if it's just affordable but when I order it's less than what I paid the first time. I like to think the company feels for me 😆. Yes thos os the best and so affordable

This lock is a nightmare. It worked for a few months but some features never worked. Based on the instruction, could never turn off the auto lock feature. Well last week it just kept beeping. I changed the batteries and still beeping when you touch the keypad, goes through a series of colors and just doesn’t stop beeping. So the other day I completely forgot that it was having issues and shut the door and was actually locked out of my house for 2 1/2 hours and it cost me $175 for a locksmith and it was 20° outside. None of my neighbors were home and of course I immediately tried to find their customer service number which is actually a Google Voice number not a real person. There’s absolutely no troubleshooting online for this issue that I’m having this was literally the biggest waste of money. I wish I could get my money back. It is just a piece of trash. Not to mention the quality when I first installed it I did notice it seemed like it was just a really cheap walk and it was $40 and I felt like that was actually a decent price to pay for a quality lock. it shouldn’t even cost that much but it never really seem like it was attached well to the door like all the other locks I’ve ever had so I know it’s not a hardware issue on my end. Tried emailing customer service multiple times, but I’m sure they’re probably in a completely different country. I really don’t care about the average consumer having issues. Save yourself the time in trouble and do not buy this. It is a complete disaster and for those bragging about it they probably have an experience this level yet.

I have a child who elopes, after reading a review about another parent who installed this for the same reason I decided to give it a try. I do have a keypad deadbolt facing the exterior so this is strictly for interior. The install was difficult, I am a single parent with little experience in swapping things like this and I also rent an apartment so the structure is a bit hard to work with. I did leave the original strike plate in place because the one that came with this did not fit. I have had no issues, this handle locks and unlocks just fine. Setting it up with a thumbprint initially is a little difficult and the screw for the battery compartment is finicky. Once you get past the initial install it is super easy and quick to add another thumbprint and change out between locked and normal mode. I do like that it has that feature in place so when you don’t need to have the handle locked it operates normally.I would recommend this item to anyone who has loved ones who elope whether they are young or grown. It is much better than the latch or security plate. Just make sure if you are using it on an exterior door that you have another security option in place as there is none on the other side.
