Never arrived so haven't been able to use it!

My child needed something to use to brush up on their skills as they were not fully understanding the lessons.This book is really good as it explains things clearly and then contains a couple of practise questions.My child is feeling more confident

Excellent study book with very easy to understand examples.

The CGP books are an excellent study aid & I have picked up many over the years.As my son is just moving in to Yr 7 I was very happy to review this book.However, I also have the CGP Mathematics for Key Stage Three Book One textbook & this book is basically a shortened version of that one with the answers at the back instead of in a seperate booklet.Comparing each chapter, the examples are mostly the same & the questions in this book are some of the questions from the textbook (which may have 12 to answer in an exercise instead of 8 asked here).There may be a few in this book that are not in the other one, but without spending a week doing a page by page comparison I couldn't find any, although sometimes the same questions were asked in a slightly different order.This is still an excellent book, but I did not expect to find the exact same questions in both.It does cover Yr 7 mathematics very well & I will continue to buy GCP books to assist my sons learning, but I do wish they would be a little more clear on which books complement each other for study & which books overlap too heavily to be worth buying.
