Nice Router Table
Easy to put together, the boards slide nice across it.The router is easy to remove.Only thing I dislike is you have to remove the router to change the bits.Would be nice if there was an access spot for the wrench.

Love this thing.. high end features affordable price
Adjusting router height from the top is worth every penny for this baby.. easy easy awesome for small shop, some plastic for sure.. but for the weekender on a budget great stuff

An adequate Table top router combination.
After waiting 4 days for Amazon to deliver, I received a re-boxed unit that had been partially assembled, then returned. After looking for apparently-missing hardware, I realized it was a return because the hardware was already attached. Following one of the most poorly written instruction manuals I've ever read, I finally got it up and running. The router is good -- solidly built with nice features like the variable-speed control, and variable cutter height adjustment, and the quick detachment, which is nice when attached to the table. What sold me on this unit was the storage containers built into the legs; it comes with a couple cheap plastic shelves that nowhere begins to house my collection of bits, so I replaced them with custom made ones. Two things keep this from being described as a "great" unit. As a retired industrial designer, who came up with the placement of the exhaust port on the router so it is directly against the power cord of the switch unit? No room to attach a vaccuum hose! Also, leaving all the open holes in the storage container legs, may save pennies worth of plastic, but it allows all the dust and chips that a router creates to enter the cabinet, so you have to clean it out after every use. I guess this is the best you get with a "budget unit".

good for price
Just got it a couple or days ago, looks great for the price. The ad states/shows height adjustment from. It does NOT tell that is with one of skil’s specific routers. Disappointed

Mounting holes don’t fit, but…
Their website doesn’t tell you which routers would fit (intentional?)! It’s a short list on the document that comes in the box.I have an old Hitachi 3 1/4 router. How old is it? I bought it from HomeBase at its bankruptcy sale in 2002 for a very good price. It weighs like a bowling ball. I used it once.I thought I could put it to good use by mounting it to a router table. So I bought the table. Well, come to find out the holes on the mounting plate don’t fit AT ALL. Return? Not me. I have a drill. I took out the plastic substrate from the Hitachi (you have to take it out anyway) and used it as a template on the mounting plate to mark the holes. Drilled the 4 holes with ease. Voila! So, don’t give up if the holes don’t fit. Make your own holes. But you can forget about your mini hand held routers, they’re too small to fit.
