Fast, Convenient and Easy to Use
The Nyko Charge Block Solo for Xbox One works great just like an other Nyko product I have bought. All you have to do is either is plug in the micro USB cable to a USB port that has sufficient power. Such as a USB plug wall charger, USB ports on the Xbox One, Computer, etc. Then put the Micro USB into the block, change out the battery cover and battery. ( It will also work with the batteries from "Nyko Modular Power Station - Xbox One" ). Then just slide the controller down on top of the block, it should fit snugly. Flashing means it is charging and solid white is battery is fully charged. The awesome thing about the blocks is that you can put multiple ones together so it is great for a household that has multiple consoles and you only want one charging station. Just take off the plastic cover off the front of the block and slide them together.

You get what you pay for.
As unhealthy as this sounds. I've played a video game for 10 hours. And then it gave me just a warning and then about 4 hours after it actually died, totally worth it. And I got 2 more battery packs and it works with the station. Awesome buy totally worth it.

A much needed solution, with a minor drawback.
This is a great functional design and working product. I was using traditional AA Batteries when I first got my X Box One, however they would last no more than 8 hours of use on (less with games that use a lot of rumbling) so I was going through a pair of AA batteries usually every 2-3 days. Its also clear that the controllers have a high minimum threshold for the battery as batteries I have taken from these have been inserted in other devices (like radios and flashlights) and still have a significant charge in them. A rechargeable solution such as this Nyko Charge Block was basically a must. Two problems with it however: First off the white variant (as I have a White X Box and controller) costs more. This only bothers me mildly, as I bought the black one anyway since I don't care about the look...but it feels wrong to me. Secondly the indicator for charging. These blocks blink on and off when charging, which is ridiculously bright as well and emits from both sides of the block. I cannot even imagine what it must be like to have 4 of these bricked together all blinking...the light is extremely bright. A better solution would have been to have a two color system to indicate charging and charged...such as red for charging and green for completely charged.

Good quality, long play time, and all at a great price.
This rechargeable battery / charging dock is fantastic for my needs, and no matter how long I game, the thing never runs out of battery in a single session. The only down side to it is the exceptionally bright white charging lights on either side of the block that flash while charging, but aren't too much of a bother since the battery usually charges quickly and can be removed from the base to turn the lights off once charged. It's modular, so you can chain them together, and it looks quite nice. The build quality is good for something that's cheap to purchase, and the mounting system used to secure the controller on the contacts is accurate and guarantees a good gravity connection.

Product works, but the product was opened
The product packaging was already opened, I don't think the block itself was used and it appears to be working. I've purchased these and think they are the best charging blocks out there. I just find it inexcusable to purchase a new product and to have its packaging already opened and some of the items out of their bags.

Nice Feature Of Nyko's Charge Block Product.
While I already bought the duo charge block I later saw that I needed an extra one and the nice feature of the product is that you don't need to but another duo charge block station but can but a single one instead which was what I needed. Each individual charge block comes with its own rechargeable battery and ac usb adapter cord too. The charge of the battery holds well and with the charge block it'll show when it's charging and when it's finished via blinking light when charging and continual light when it's done. The charge block port has a nice design where you can pretty much fit the controller pretty much snugly and perfectly without the hassle of wriggling around to get a decent connection. So if you're looking for a single controller charge station or an additional one if you have more then two controllers then this product is well worth looking into.

All good, minus the battery
Works well, battery and battery cover fits into the controller without issue. It is a bit on the light side though, I wish it had a bit more weight so it doesn’t slide around so much. The LEDs will blink while charging, and turn solid when ready.I’m not really sure if it is safe to keep the controller docked even when fully charged; no way to know if the unit actually stops supplying power when the battery is fully charged. I guess the worse that could happen is the battery capacity will deteriorate faster, but it would be nice to know for sure.Battery itself seems to last about the same as the original Microsoft batteries so far.Update: A month later and the battery can barely hold a charge any longer; it’ll charge either through the block or Xbox usb cable, but dies very soon after. Upsetting.
