Q: Is this bracelet suitable for 3 year olds?

The pieces are small but of nice quality. As long as they don't put them in their month it would be fine.

Q: What are the charms made of?

The seller claims: "Each jewelry made from environmental alloy with white gold plated, Nickel, Lead and Cadmium free, hypoallergenic." I cannot verify if that's true officially but the majority of the charms are adorable. Some are a little small and the details are hard to see like on some of the smaller Mickey mouse charms. I actually used this kit and combined it with an addition charm collection from Amazon, removed both from the packaging and placed the charms in a different fill-able advent calendar (a cat felt one with little pockets that I purchased here as well). I took the best of the charms for it and discarded the few that weren't as good.
