Made building battery cables for a solar installation in motorhome fast; easier than anticipated.Cut 1/0 welding cables cleanly, easily. Made 18 cables with no discernable wear on cutters. They were also an excellent choice for scoring the insulation prior to crimping the lugs.No, the cut ends were not perfect, ( someone mentioned), but it cut 100 strands of fine copper wire very neatly.Perfect for my project.

I bought these to cut through sky high oversize 0awg ofc/cca, I do car audio and these cutters are the best I’ve ever had. These cut through 0awg like butter. And with the little curves at the end I use it to strip ends of wire all the way down to 18awg and they work absolutely great. A MUST have for any car audio installer/enthusiast. I couldn’t be happier with the product.

While I got these specifically to cut some 1/0 AWG cable, I paid more attention to the price than the size. They're pretty small and not ideal if you need to cut a lot of 1/0 cable. But it cut it much easier than my other less-sharp tools I'd been using. These are perfect for anything from 14 AWG (or even smaller) down to thicker stuff, probably 2/0 would be pushing it.For the price, these are excellent.

I pulled these out to cut some wires with a bunch of other guys around and they were all amazed with how crazy easy they cut through 2/0 wire. Now everyone wants to use these for everything instead of their other wire cutters. I can't say how durable they are yet, they started out very sharp and once they dull down I'm sure they will be less impressive but I cut all the wires to set up a PV system and they are still sharp.

Need for one job - cutting 2/0 welding cable for a solar system.If I was a PRO and used cutters everyday I think I'd buy a pair with thicker and longer handles -but for me these got the job done nicely !
