Perfect for sparring!
The media could not be loaded. Gloves fit well, very comfortable and are very durable. Thicker padding for protection when sparring which is good for both my partner and I. I’ve had the BGv6 for a year now, I use them 5 days out of the week and nothing has ripped. Training regiment is pretty standard; bag work, pads and sparring. The blue color is solid, stitching is still strong no strangling strings and Fairtex logo is still there. No fade and Velcro is still intact .A lot better than a $250 Marvel Glove that’s for sure!!!

Excellent gloves!!
Excellent quality as always. Padding feels broken in from the start so they are perfect sparring gloves. They seem like they would be great bag/pad gloves also. A++

Perfect
I use these during my Muay Thai sparring, and they are perfect. I will say that they’re very snug on the hands if you use thicker wraps, but other than that, they’re a 10/10.

Great punchers style glove (sort of)
I’d say this is like a hybrid between a punchers glove and regular. For sure gonna feel bad for your sparring partners if you’re a heavy hitter…

Good gloves but break-in period is rough. Not for sparring
These gloves are great to get good pop on the bag and provide good protection once broken in. The reason for the 3 stars is because they are super stiff out of the box and require about 3 weeks of almost daily use to soften up a bit. Wrap your hands well in this period. Do not use these for sparring, they will feel like bricks to your partner.

The BGV6 gloves are well made
The BGV6’s are great fitting and secure on both my hands and wrists. They’re well padded and can be used safely for both sparring and heavy bag work.

Fairtex always delivers with quality, my hayabusa ones broke apart after less then. A year, my fairtex ones I had before when I started kickboxing 8 years ago still are holding up and DONT SMELL

Beautiful, dense, small, but incredibly stiff
My knuckles blister and bruise inside these gloves when i use them for bag workI know they're "sparring" gloves, but do you really want to switch gloves every time?locked thumb is solidmy sparring partners always ask if theyre the right weight cos they're small for the weight and they are dense/hard so I think they're getting hurt a bit in sparring

Fairtex BGV6, 16 OZ.The hand compartment has medium to low wiggle room, therefore a snug fit (with warps). The wrist support is very solid; very good for catching punches and kicks in sparring. The padding is excellent. Awesome quality leather and craftsmanship, as expected from Fairtex.I use these at Muay Thai classes, interchangeably with a pair of Fairtex BGV1, 14 OZ.I'm 1.83 cm (6 ft) tall, 91.5 Kg (202 lbs).
