Great flavor, high price
I love this curry paste, but if you can find an Asian grocery store, get it there. It is a WHOLE LOT less expensive.

The secret to over-the-top Beef Masaman curry:
Costco boneless beef short rib. Seriously. Cut into large cubes. Season generously.Well browned on one side only. Transfer to a plate. Fry the masaman paste (2 oz per lb of beef,) in the fond for a minute, then sweat your aromatics (onion, carrot, bay leaves,) to scrape up everything. Lastly adding your coconut milk to make the curry come together after simmering for a few minutes.I add it all to the Instant Pot and increase the liquid level with 1 cup beef broth (plus or minus 1/3 cup,) so the pressure will come up. Manual mode, high pressure for 20 minutes. Natural release, of course. Once the pressure is released, I add 3 or 4 yukon gold potatoes, small dice, and turn on the saute function. Let the potatoes cook until fork tender, about 10 minutes. Add peanuts if you like (YES!) and this is better than your favorite Thai restauant. Serve with coconut rice! Great leftovers after all the flavors come together overnight. Trust me.

Delicious and Easy to Use - Perfect for my InstaPot Curries
We get restaurant-quality masaman curries from my InstaPot with this not-so-secret ingredient from Maesri. I've been using their yellow curry for many years and recently bought the sampler pack so we could figure out our favorite. Hands down this Masaman Curry paste has won us over.

Solid, Good quality Thai Yellow Curry Paste (Masaman)
I've used this brand (Mae Sri aka MaeSri) for decades. I prefer it to Aroi Dee or Mae Ploy - the other two major brands commonly available. For making a variety of well-known Thai dishes. Popularly known as 'gaeng garee.' Very nice-tasting, a distinct sweetness; perhaps a bit more mild than other Thai curries. Can be made spicier by the addition of long strips of red and/or green chilis while cooking which also enhance the beauty of the finished curry. It is one of two popular curries popular in the Southern part of Thailand - the other being Penang curry, which is red in color. Actually there is another one I cannot recall the name of at this moment. They're all good.

Worked out fantastic, I want to make curry almost every night
I never knew I liked curry until I went to a certain Thai restaurant and began ordering each style. Red and massaman curry turned out to be my favorite and since I do a lot of my own cooking, I set out to make me own at home. I'm still trying to perfect the flavor to my liking, but even on the first go, it was delicious and my wife agrees. It works out well when I want to add a slight curry/spice flavor to other dishes, as well. I've become a lot less shy about using this paste, especially since I have 2 big 14oz cups of it, now.
