Worked great. I mounted it to concrete and put my post in it to secure a safety gate leading to our external basement entry stairs. Did the trick and was very easy to install with a masonry hammer drill.

It was attached to the mailbox post I ordered from Amazon to secure the base of my post!

I ordered this for a mailbox post as described. The post that I ordered at the same time had a gap approximately 1/4” to small on each side.

newbie mail delivery guy snapped off my mailbox post which was sunk in cement at ground level. Perfect “Fix-it” Son-in-law screwed this base mount for mailbox postinto cement. Mailbox better than new.

This base is great. I had to buy some heavier-duty cement anchors as the ones it came with were pretty cheap and flimsy. Other than that, it was the perfect solution for me! My mailbox is standing tall!

The receptacle portion for the post is at least 1/2 inch too big. Leaves big gap on two sides that has to be shimmed before you install screws. The base and the material it is made of is very sturdy and well made product. I would have sent it back but there was nothing out there similar to pick from. The company needs to make a change in there measurements.

Worked to fixed my snow-plowed destroyed mailbox for a temp solution, and will be able to use this for a permanent solution in spring when the weather breaks here in WNY.
