Perfect for trimming Bamboo but…
The perfect and I mean ideal, tool for trimming my 12’ bamboo hedge. But only the index finger size new shoots.Doesn’t work on dense wood!

This product is junk. Do not buy!
The product had the same problem that many others had complained of in the ratings, but my error, i didn't read them prior to purchase. Even if i wanted to figure out how to work it, all instructions (if they are that) are in Chinese. The packaging was too small for the unit, so it was hanging outside the box. Amazon should think carefully if its good reputation continues to be tarnished by bad third-party vendors...

Great idea but very poorly executed manufacturing.
Thank goodness for Amazon's easy return/refund policy. The first one I received wouldn't work right out of the box. Somewhere inside the connection between the squeeze handle and the jaws had been misassembled or had broken at the factory. I returned it asking for a replacement which arrived swiftly. The second one performed exactly as I had desired - for 20 minutes. I'd finished pruning one tree in satisfyingly short time, then put the device down to go get a drink. When I picked it up, it had the same problem as the first one; squeeze the trigger and nothing happens. The jaws neither open nor close, signifying that there is no connection inside (anymore).I returned it for a refund. I really would have enjoyed owning one, if one ever actually worked as advertised. As a retired career procurement professional, I have a dark place in my heart for manufacturers who use their customers as their Quality Inspection department...

Absolute junk!
For the price I expected much better quality. The cutter does not cut at all!No instructions are given in English. Entire packaging is in Chinese. This is something I would expect to find in a discount store like 5 Below or Ollie’s…not through Amazon at $ 125. Don’t waste your time and money. You’ll be disappointed and only have to return it!If I could have given zero stars I would have!

It works well for what I need.
Mesoga 4.5-11.5 FT 4 Sections Extendable Tree Trimmers with Handle Adjustment, Cut and Hold Pruners, Long Reach Pole Saw Pruning Shears, Branch Loppers Garden Bypass Clippers, Telescopic Fruit PickerI have found this trimmer to mostly be effective for what I was looking for. I have a lot of tallow, hackberry, and mimosa trees around my yard, and needed something better than my old tools to help keep them under control. My pole saw is worn out, I dislike fiberglass handles, I'm not a big fan of the locking rings that many have either, and ropes and chains tend to get in the way- this one is a great solution for my preferences. This saw demands for the sections to be extended and retracted in a specific order to make the other sections release, and for the clipper to work. They need to be extended from the clipper end first, then middle, then the gripper end, and reverse that order to retract them. Odd, but not that big of an issue for me. Once I figured it out, I had no problems getting each section to move or lock into place, and keep the clippers operational. Be careful when collapsing the poles, I somehow managed to get a pad of a finger caught, and have a blood blister there now, hahaha. The pole reaches its stated length in the description, and it's strong enough for me to work at its full length on slim, tough, 9mm hackberry branches.I really like this for clipping the mimosa saplings that have sprouted all over my fence line! It's much easier to stand and clip them with this trimmer, than it is to stoop over with normal hand loppers. The saw blade is sharp as heck, and it cut through a 5" thick trunk of dead and rotting tallow tree easily! I find it to be thicker than the blade of my old pole saw that was from a big-box store. It doesn't flop around on me, and so far hasn't gotten stuck in what I'm sawing like the old one does. However, the saw blade is only held on by one wingnut. The screws that go through the holes of the saw onto the bumper, go right through the holes of the blade and don't anchor it. Some screws with a slightly larger head, or some washers will solve that. This unit is for light duty jobs- but it does work well for my situation, and I'm happy with this trimmer.

Broke while using it the first time
When I open and close the handle the clippers remain open instead of opening and closing
