I have very active dogs that loved to swim and run through the woods. I have lost a lot of tags using the vet figure 8 style clip. These are much more secure and will not corrode and discolor your dogs coat.

I ordered 38 engraved dog tags from a different company for my various animals, including a cow, donkeys, horses, goats. The rings that came with the tags were so thin and weak, the tags came off the collars in a matter of weeks. Once the tags were found in the grass, I ordered these stainless steel rings. Six months later and not a lost tag. The rings don't rust, are attractive and are a perfect size for pet collars & dog tags. Beware, they are so sturdy, it is difficult to pull apart to get the name tag on. I used a butter knife to pull the coil apart.

Exactly what we needed! Our dog's tag fell off and this is plenty sturdy so we are not concerned.

There are many key rings in this pack. I like to not overload any key ring so I dont look like the school janitor. The rings I used maintained their shape after installing keys on them.I keep the keys on an angle when pushing them through to reduce how wide I spread them. Fortunately, they have returned their normal shape. The rings are plenty thick.I am pleased with this purchase. I can set up multiple sets of keys now.

Seems to be of decent quality. Cannot vouch yet for the marine non-corrosion properties. Once you spread it open to go around something it does NOT spring back tight all the way. It stays slightly open which is a negative but in my case it will still work. I’ll try something different next time.
