I like that it has the quick connect lever but you really need to know the exact size of your strobe light. Mine is just a tad smaller so I had to add a piece of rubber between the strobe and the Bowens mount adapter. With the rubber in place it is a solid piece.

I bought a Neweer C-300 Studio light with soft box, but when I wanted to change to beauty dishes they all had Bowen’s S mounts which my light didn’t support. I bought new lights and many more diffusers. This little ring, brought my C-300 back into play for me. It’s such a great light that this small ring gave back to my line up. A little gaffers tape makes it fit very tight.

For those that purchased the  Neewer 250W 5600K Photo Studio Strobe Flash Light Monolight with Modeling Lamp, Aluminium Alloy Professional Speedlite for Indoor Studio Location Model Photography and Portrait Photography (N-250W)  You will find that the documentation is poor, and there are very few youtube videos or reviews that help for those that want to add modifiers such as reflectors and soft-boxes. Look no further! This universal mount will open the world of Bowens compatible accessories and modifiers for you. Another neat & unexpected feature of this mount is that it will extend the edge of your mono-light by about 1/2 to 3/4 of an inch - creating a protective barrier should you wish to store the mono-light while keeping the modeling light bulb attached. You can then add a cap/cover, or do as I do, just tuck a little bubble wrap into the end while the light is in storage (see one of the attached pics). The fit is very snug, and does not move once attached. This is EXACTLY what I have been looking for, and I hope this helps a new purchaser not go through the same painful searches that I have gone through.

This universal mount is essential if you purchase the LimoStudio Photography 2SET 200W Photo Monolight Flash Strobe Studio Photography Light Lighting, AGG2834. It fits perfectly over the outer housing of the monolight. Just a little tip to help make if fit perfectly, take a strip of gaffers tape and put on the outer housing first. That way the clamp on the mount has something with a little grip to hold on to. I have 2 in use constantly. Well built.

Use this to mount a beauty dish to a Godox E250 moonlight. Secures the fixture to the flash unit quickly and easily. Seems stable and serviceable for most light modifiers. Beauty dishes and average size soft boxes should be no problem. I’ve not used it with a large soft box, but, as long as you watch the mounting angle of your flash unit, you should be OK. While it works fine, and mounts easily, not sure I’d trust any adapter with holding a large soft box directly over someone’s head with a universal mount flash unit.

This is exactly what I needed to fit on my Bowers Strobe so I could use the softboxes...

Muy buena, me sirvió mucho para mí flash monoligth neweer 300n, le queda muy bien, ajusta bien, no hay mucha información sobre adaptadores a bowens y batalle en encontrar uno, espero sirva esta información a alguien que tenía mi mismo problema.Lo necesitaba necesitaba poner un snoot con montura bowens, a mí flash con montura universal (redonda y lisa) este adaptador soluciono las cosas, y puedes poner cualquier artefacto con montura bowens en él, ajusta bien y no hay ningún problema.
