The light on original aquarium hood stopped working and I couldn't find how to get a replacement from manufacturer. After an Amazon search this light was indicated as a possible replacement. Decided to take a chance and have been very pleasantly surprised! This light is so superior to the original, there is no comparison. I am considering buying a larger version for my other aquarium. If you need a new aquarium light, don't hesitate; i highly recommend it.

This product would have gotten all five stars from me if the remote control worked. When we first installed it into the tank you had to push the buttons several times up close to the light in order to change the colors. However, as of yesterday the colors won't change at all. I have changed out the battery in the remote, I have tried putting the remote up close to the receiver and up close to the light. It has absolutely stopped working. It was a Christmas gift to my fiance and it has not worked even one full month. Very disappointing result tonwhat seemed like a cool product.

This has been a great replacement light for my fish tank. The brightness levels are great, there's quite a few levels to choose from and all levels work great for each color. Lowest is great for a night time nightlight, and the brightest setting is very bright. Timer settings work great, 4, 8 and 12 hour settings. I have this in a 37 gal tank and I'm very happy with it. I would definitely recommend this for anyone that needs a replacement light when their original light stops working.

the light is so bright! it is on the back wall of the tank pointing down, and the colors are great, but getting the light to turn on or off or change a color.... the remote is horrible. i have to push the buttons so many times to just turn the light off at night, on in the morning, or change color.

We had ordered this fish tank light before Christmas but due to changing out some fish and changing the tank around, it was not put in our tank until late January, today the whole light just stopped working. Really loved the options of colors and brightness and dimming options. But extremely disappointed it has went out so quickly.

I bought this aquarium light 11/3/21 and put it in the aquarium 11/7/21. I liked the choice of colors and the timer, but the light never seemed very bright no matter what color was chosen. I could live with the dimness of the light, but as of 1/12 it is dead. I can't recommend this light due to that.

Would buy this again! Perfect!
