It's okay
It's good but not too sweet. I like it more on the sweet side

Very Rich (In a Good Way!)
The most frequent complaint I've seen in other reviews is that this product is overly sweet. This "downside" actually encouraged me to buy the product in the first place. I have a condition where my sense of taste is muted, so I need flavors to be on the extreme side in order for me to be able to fully appreciate them. With that taken into account, this drinking chocolate mix is outstanding. In fact, though I usually make hot chocolate with almond milk, I prefer this mix in hot water instead, because the flavor in milk ends up being too rich even for me (it's like drinking liquid fudge). This is something I've very rarely experienced. I like topping this up with a splash of almond milk for some added creaminess, but I don't need to add extra sweeteners, which again, for me, is new. Despite the cringe-worthy price, I love this stuff so far above and beyond every other low-carb/cal hot chocolate mix out there that I stock up on it pretty much every month. If you like your hot chocolate on the rich side, this product is for you. I'd suggest not exceeding the recommended serving size; maybe add extra water/coffee/milk to cut the sweetness if need be.

Not a fan
I love all Lakanto products, but not this one. It has a weird taste, where it's cold in your mouth. I can't even describe it. And it's a little too sweet.

I like it. Just 2 tbsp of this + 1 cup water may not be enough
I like it. 2 tbsp is 15 calories (I guess I didn't do my research, I thought it'd be 0 cal). The chocolate flavor is mild and the consistency is very thin. I really wanted to like this -- and I do like it -- but it's not as amazing as I thought it would be, brutally honest. Note that I mix 2 tbsp of this powder with a cup of water, so your mileage may vary if you have a different mixture/ratio. For my use, 2 tbsp isn't enough flavor with water, so I add something extra (artificial sweetener, unsweetened cocoa powder, 1 or 2 tbsp of low cal CoffeeMate creamer, or 0 cal syrup flavoring). Then it's quite piquant! It dissolves pretty easily and the texture is that of its solvent liquid -- it's been dissolving fully. I use chopsticks to stir it or I use a stirring cup (the magnetically-spun-pill design).Having a cup a day in the morning would probably last 2-3 weeks using 2 tbsp/day. To be honest, $10 feels a little expensive; may or may not buy again. Not to say that it's not good! I will enjoy it while it lasts.

Bitter, poor package design: powder immediately fills zip lock grooves+cannot seal
The cocoa is bitter and made the coffee I added it to taste worse. The plastic bag as a container is a bad idea: I don't see how the zip-like seal on any of the bags could work because after I had opened the container bag and poured out a couple spoonfuls, I found that the groves meant to fit and lock together to form the zip-lock were coated in the dry, powdered cocoa, and could not engage together in order for the bag to be sealed. When I tried to shake the cocoa off the grooves it did no good and more cocoa became airborne.I think that even if one uses a spoon and is careful that eventually the fine, airborne cocoa powder would soon accumulate and coat the plastic groves that form the zip lock closure (making it useless).Instead of cutting open the top of the cocoa bag that is above the zip seal, I had torn the plastic strip off beginning from the designated tab (slit), and the slight motion had caused the very fine cocoa powder to become air born and spill upwards out of the package (the zip lock mechanism either had not been sealed from the time of manufacture or had come apart as I pulled the tab above it), and cocoa powder settled on the front of my laptop and in the groves of the touchpad (I vacuumed it but it feels like there is some still there). This product would have been better packaged in a firm container with an easy to open lid such as a jar or the old fashioned cocoa containers so that powdered cocoa will not become airborne every time the soft package is opened, plus the zip lock mechanism clogged. As the powder was so fine and volatile (and somewhat bitter), I did not want to bother transfering it to another container; I tried folding the top of the opened, unsealable cocoa bag over, putting a clip on it and then putting the whole package in a clear, zip lock baggie, but without the cocoa's zip closure functional, the powder had started to work its way out into the clear baggie.Originally I had looked for a natural chocolate syrup (in place of popular commercial brands which have preservatives), to add to coffee, and/or milk, and being sugar free was not a requirement: not finding something, I looked for a powdered form and had ordered this product. As this cocoa was bitter anyway, I threw the whole package in the trash and do not recommend this item. Have ordered some syrup sweetened w/agave but am not sure how that will work out.

Terrific product!
Love this! I put it in my coffee every morning. It tastes divine and has no chalky texture or weird after taste.
