I had a need for a VERY short bungie. These looked like they would work and I ordered them. Surprise! Great product and so easily adjustable to exactly the size I needed. Nothing critical and no use in a way where someone's safety might be compromised. Bungie cords are just plain dangerous to use because of the powerful stored energy when you stretch them out. If the end securing device breaks or fails in some way the chance of permanent eye damage is very high, or even a facial or bodily injury. Just use with caution and keep your safety in mind. Rubber band snaps are not funny or cool.

Doesn't get much better than this. A star off because one black end cap came off but it looks like the others are not far behind. No big deal just need to scorch the ends and bind them with some wire or similar to keep the rope ends from unraveling. Unlike some I got at Lowe's (that I manage to break the plastic hook ends) these have steel inside the black plastic hooks - look sturdy. Let's see how long will their tension last.

The wide gap hooks fit over my Magna-Cart's rails, making hookup more convenient than more awkward ways to secure my loads.

These take a bit of effort to lock back into position once you adjust the length, but that is a good sign they are not going to slip when in use. I originally bought 2 of these to try, mostly because I wanted bungees with a larger hook opening. I've had many times when the hook on a standard type bungee was too small to reach around a pipe, or other item I wanted to fasten against. These have nice larger steel reinforced hooks. Once I got the first two today and checked them out, I ordered 6 more.

You'll need strong arms/hands to lock the cable length in place. Once you set it and forget it, it works well. My daughter uses it with a dolly for hauling her baritone sax case around. She likes it better than her other bungee cord because she doesn't have to wrap it multiple times to get a good tension. If you plan to frequently readjust the length, look elsewhere. This isn't that easy to adjust, and I think the cable will wear down quickly over time if it is constantly being pulled in and out of those grabbing teeth. This would get a higher rating from me if it had a better mechanism for locking the cable length.

These are so cool, I use them on my bicycle carrier and they work amazing, very easy to set up saves time

Ridiculously difficult to adjust; maybe I, along with a few others, received units where the bungee was thicker than standard or something. Agree with another reviewer that it will probably damage the bungee to adjust it too much.Bought the Onegee Bungee, and very happy with that one.

Good quality, but grabbing mechanism (plastic) will be hard on the Bungi if readjusted a lot.
