Winsor & Newton Galeria Acrylic Color, 60ml (2-oz) Tube, Olive Green

Love Winsor & Newton acrylic paints. Wonderful consistency, depth of color and price (well, before tariffs anyway). What I don’t like are the caps…and others in my painting class agree. The black caps are hard to grasp and cumbersome to manage when you are in the middle of a painting project. Have to keep a pliers handy at all times. Otherwise a great product.

I like how the paint looks on my canvas. I plan to use them for art projects in and out of studio.

BEST acrylic paint for sure. Not too thin like many, vibrant colors, consistent textures. Exactly would you would expect from Winsor & Newton

I had to custom mix this with other colors to get it to the right shade of olive green; this is closer to a leaf green. But it worked for what I needed...because of the daylight, the color in the photos is actually a little darker than what you see here in the pictures. Gargoyle statues are from Design Toscano and because they were weathered down to grey over the years, I needed to restore them.

This is not in the pallet. As professional painters you want results. The brand is known to me forever now. It’s exceptional.

I like the smoothness of this paint. It stays usable longer than other brands. Easy open cap too.

I didn’t want to mix my own olive green because I can never mix enough to save my life. So I ordered some…. At least I thought I did. It says olive in the description and on the tube, I checked. After making sure I wasn’t a dingbat I squeezed out a good amount and mixed it on a pallet to see if it was separated or something… it wasn’t. It is a forest green at best. I have still used it. The quality of paint is good but the color is not olive.
