Messed up driver.
First of all I'm a big fan of Asus, I own Asus motherboard, graphic cards, router etc, this is the first time I bought Asus peripheral. So when the keyboard arrives, I plug it into my PC and has no problem with it(Or maybe the problem hasn't arise yet). After several hours of usage I decided to install Armor Crate and update the firmware as in the manual. After the firmware update and the next couple days I notice some serious driver issues with the keyboard.First issue keyboard will mess with my mouse from time to time. It is as if it's drawing not enough current from the USB 3.0 port. From time to time it will cut off for a second and come back. So both mouse and keyboard stops working from time to time. Then there is another issue of the key I type start repeating itself without me doing anything. Try to google "Rog claymore ii issues part 2" and you will find a video post by a user. I have the exact same problem, and it's a common problem, not acceptable for a 200 pounds keyboard.I went to the asus forum to find a solution. Surprisingly a lot of people are having problem with the firmware upgrade, and asked to downgrade the firmware, but that is not possible. In the end I gave up and asked for a refund. After all the research I've done, my conclusion is ASUS make good hardwares like motherboard and graphic cards, but their peripherals is trash, avoid it.

The battery will die really fast and for me started on fire.
The battery died on me and started on fire, the entire keyboard is destroyed. I now have a burn mark on my floor and my hands are burned. The battery started bulging out making the O and K keys not work and from there all hell. DO NOT BUY THIS, NOT WORTH THE MONEY!!!!!!!

Good, but not perfect, "clicky" keyboard
I like the features and build quality of this keyboard. It feels solid and is very fast. The clicks could be a little clickier, but that's a personal preference thing. Being able to move and/or remove the numeric keypad is great. The wrist rest clicks on magnetically with a satisfying click and a strong connection. Every. Single. Key. is remappable via Asus' Armour Crate software. And lighting is also completely customizable using the same software. The lighting is bright and looks really nice. Battery life is actually far better than I was expecting. I saw the battery life specs and was a bit concerned about that, but when coupled with the power-saving features, it lasts a good long while. Pleasantly surprised by that. It's not perfect, though. The keycaps are proprietary. So any notion of swapping them out for something custom is out the window (though you could probably 3D print custom/replacements if you were so inclined). And there's something funky with the driver. Since I was concerned about the battery life, I had completely intended on using this wired 100% of the time. However, when the keyboard is wired, it spits out random "s" characters. With nothing touching the keyboard at all. I thought I might be in store for an RMA, but strangely, when wireless, this doesn't happen. Everything functions exactly as expected when it's wireless. Hopefully Asus will release an updated driver that fixes that issue, but it's something to note for now.
