Nice...
Looks great. Took an hour 5 min to assemble. Only made two mistakes/corrections (feet attached to floor in middle - didn't understand picture, put floor boards in upside down at first). Otherwise, easy to assemble. It is lighter assembled than box is. It is put together with only a few screws so maybe I should add more screws to make it more sturdy (if i can get time to soon...) because unsure if it will hold up for years to come outside in the elements... hope so! It was worth it. Let's see if the dogs like. Love the door flap for insulation. Floor seems sturdy. Roof is awesome like shingles, waterproof. Smells beautiful, like pine ❤️. Perfect size for two dogs under 20 lbs to fit together or 3-4 cats if they are brave to challenge the dogs.

Super cute doghouse! Easy to put together and well made.
Love this doghouse so far! I have two small shih tzu mix dogs that weigh about 20lbs each. I bought this so they could have someplace to get out of the weather especially in the winter when I'm at work or running errands. The doghouse came exactly on time. It wasn't dropped off in a very convenient place, but my house can be a little confusing to get to if you haven't been there before. As far as the setup goes, I think it took me about 30mins-and hour tops. All of the directions were very clear and each piece was marked correctly. And it came with a screwdriver, so that was an unexpected surprise! The only issue I had in regards to setup, was that a couple of the holes that had been drilled to put screws in hadn't been drilled very far in, so one of the pieces connecting the bar to the roof is a slightly loose. But the other pre-drilled holes were completely fine, so I assume that was just an inconsistency. If you have power tools (unlike me) it wouldn't be an issue at all.The structure is well built and the paint and stain really gives it a cute look. The wood is light, but sturdy. Both of my small dogs fit comfortably in it with room to move around, and it holds their weight without a problem. The heaviest part is the roof and I'm assuming that's because it has the weatherproof piece on top. I read other reviews and was a little concerned about the flooring having space between the boards, but the holes weren't as wide as I expected, and especially if you buy the insulation to go with it, or even put a dog bed and/or blanket in it, your pup should be fine. The one thing I haven't tried yet is the plastic flap over the front door. I don't know that my dogs would go in if I put it on, but the instructions for it are easy to understand as well, and it seems to be well made, so I assume it works great if you decide to use it.Overall it's a way cute dog house and I would definitely recommend it if you're looking for a dog house, but want something a little more decorative.

Seems like good quality but assembly was harder than expected
I’ve ordered a similar product before, but it had a window and was made out of (seemingly) different material. The other one was much easier to assemble. There were missing perforations for the holes on one of the pieces that took quite a bit of measuring to make sure we got right. The tool they provided is also not efficient. In the directions, it shows them using the screwdriver to put on that piece for the hinge (looks like a nipple) and that would not have worked. Definitely need a drill for this assembly. The house, now that it’s our together, seems to be doing what we want it to now. I’m not displeased with the house, just expected an easier assembly. We moved our other house to our coop to keep our chickens’ water warm, so the (2) cats use this one now. We have an automated feeder, heater, and cat igloo in there for them that all seems to fit fine. This house is not under a cover either so it sits in the elements and held up fine against a lot of rain recently. Since there is no window, we did cut a small hole into the bottom so the power plug could go in easily. And maybe if the piece had been prepared with the perforated holes, this would be a different review and might have gotten a five.

Soft Kitty, Warm Kitty, Easy Assembly
See attached pictures for the happy inhabitants of their new warm home. We didn’t think our makeshift cardboard box enclosure was doing the trick for our feral & stray adoptees anymore since it started hitting freezing temperatures in the past week, and we also wanted to not have an eyesore sitting on our porch any longer. This house matches the outside of our home pretty well and is a definite improvement in our porch aesthetic. It also smells nicely of cedar. I built it myself in just under an hour, including the time it took to unpack all the pieces and get my tools out. I have built several IKEA furniture pieces and am relatively handy and good at this type of thing, but this cat house was especially easy and simple to assemble. The pieces are all well labeled, including the screws (see pictures) which helped a great deal. The instructions were simpler than I expected as well. It required only a screwdriver, so no crazy hammering necessary. We lined the house with the bubble wrap it was packed in until we get some emergency blankets or something else for lining. We also got a K&H heating pad - the small size covers about half the floor of this house. The cord to the pad did not fit nicely through the slats of the floor, but you could carve out or drill a hole somehow if you feel inclined to do so. It worked for us to have the cord come out under the front of the lid. The cord does not get squished this way and it looks fine. Didn’t seem worth drilling a hole elsewhere to hide the cord more. Also, we kept the plastic flap off for now until the cats get used to the house. It is very easy to take it on and off so you can see if your cats like it without committing. I can’t speak to long term quality or satisfaction as we have only had it outside a few hours, but it feels sturdy, looks cute, and the cats seem to be checking it out and at least 1-2 are getting into it by themselves now. It’s the closest thing to letting the cats into our home without sacrificing my husband’s allergies or our lease terms.
