Amazon Basics Enameled Cast Iron Dutch Oven - 5.6 L, Red

Beautiful pot. Almost identical to the Lodge for less than half the price. Have used it severaltimes and it seems to be a good pot. Update: 4 months later. This has become one of my favorite pots. I use it regularly and it performs just as well as my Lecreuset. It cleans up perfectly too. Really good value.

Quality product, solid build quality.I do wonder about the sanity of people who mark this down for being ‘too heavy’. It’s a big cast iron pot.... of course it’s heavy!

Product worked great for a few times and then began to bubble and of course it worsened. I’ve reached out to Amazon to see if it can be returned or replaced but it appears it cannot. Would really appreciate my money back or at least a replacement as I understand items can be defective.

Mi reseña es más bien una advertencia para quien considere adquirirla para hornear pan artesanal. La olla no soporta las temperaturas recomendadas en el horno para hornear panes de masa madre. Es pesada y se ve resistente, ha funcionado bien para cocinar sobre la estufa, pero si quieres una olla de batalla para cocinar y también para hornear pan, verifica las temperaturas máximas que soportan (de preferencia que soporten hasta 500 °F).

Impressive! With the exception of just two (tiny) imperfections in the final gloss finishAmazon basics is, in my opinion, top quality!I love it!My only question is when will AMAZON offer an EXTENSIVE product line of "everything" AMAZON BASICS?
