Activity book for skill building most useful..
I bought these to do skill building for my Job. They have proved to be a very useful tool and one I don't want to be without. The children respond to them appropriately and I really couldn't do my job without it. Shipping was ontime and in great packaging. Thank you.

Fantastic book!
This book gave some major helpful suggestions for kids (and parents of kids) with ADHD.The stories were cute and the animal characters helped make the book relatable to young kids. Most importantly, the book gave kids the feeling that ADHD is manageable and doesn't make them "wrong."

Great interactive book
I ordered this for my 6-year-old son who has the ADHD type of personality. I do not agree with it being labeled as a disorder, and I view it as a personality type especially because I exhibit it myself. I believe it is an asset, and once we learn how to work with it is where we can find our true power within. When I was younger it was labeled as a negative or there was something wrong with me. However, I was just different than the group and did not fit inside a box. I had a lot more inner fire and creativeness, but schools and society wanted me to conform to them. some people think there is an epidemic of children that display this type of personality like there is something wrong, but the reality is all the children that exhibit these types of personalities are very powerful and eventually the world and the schools are going to have to change for them. They are the future, and they are coming here to help change the world. Once these types of personalities find that it's sort of a superpower, that's when the real change happens and they are no longer being labeled as having a problem or something is wrong with them. You will notice many ADHD types or others are powerful entrepreneurs and business owners, and they are much of the ones that have the most creative and genius minds out there. However, when we have these types of personalities and we have to exist in a world that sort of works against us and not for us, we have to tweak it a little bit. And when we have all this extra fire and energy inside it can cause anxiety or negative behaviors if we aren't able to process and expel the extra energy. Our types are many types incredibly intuitive but also sensitive since we pick up on things not everyone else does. This can cause over-stimulation which can cause us to act out. Anyway, my son is six and this is too hard of a read for him right now, but I prefer to read it to him because I don't want to use the words ADHD. I love books that address this personality type, but I absolutely don't want him thinking that he is a label. This book contains many short stories about different animals and after each one there are questions and a little activity that you can do with your child. Animals are a big part of our life, so the short stories in this book are very helpful for my son to hear about them and then relate it to instances in his own life. We can do one activity a day as they are pretty short but each animal has a series of different activities the way the chapters are presented. I like the texture of the book as it has a grip to it and will help extend the wear. Overall, I'm really happy with this and this is a great addition to our daily life.

Ok … but …. We’ll …. OK !
I get it it is a ok go to book if you have no education back ground as a former Pre - K teacher, I just wanted a resource to have have for my little at home. I feel like this it all stuff I have used before. It is great as a reminder but nothing new for us. Ok to have an pull out from time to time.

Short tales with big impact
This book introduces us to the characters of Fig, Fern, Lucy, and Billie Jean who have relatable challenges in their life like forgetfulness, short attention span, and intense emotions and feelings. Through short, usually one-page stories and corresponding questions or activities, the characters help teach mindfulness techniques like deep breathing, mind-centering, and movement. The stories are an appropriate reading and comprehension level for a good range of ages, so confident readers can tackle this book along side you, or it can be read out loud to younger children. The final two sections of the book are a reflection on the book as a whole and ask parents and children to sit with each other and discuss what has been covered and learned in the book. It provides great opportunities to speak with children about topics that can be hard to bring up sometimes, like big feelings and random anxieties they may have.I have incorporated this book into my homeschool routine as a short activity that lets us change gears into something else. I can cover two or three, sometimes more, stories each day and they tend to get us having important discussions about our lives and how we can best impact ourselves and those around us.Overall, this is a great book for kiddos with ADHD or, like mine, who don't have a diagnosis, but they are quite rambunctious and kind of an all-over-the-place kiddo. Perfectly okay with me, but I recognize she has a problem reeling those big feelings in sometimes and this can help us talk about it and get ideas on how we can help each other with these times.

Great way to introduce kids to the practice and benefits of mindfulness.
Mindfulness Activities for Kids with ADHD: Engaging Stories and Exercises to Help You Learn And Thrive Paperback – May 11, 2021I requested this book for Mr. Pit Bull as he is an avid meditator. As a middle school teacher, he often shares mindfulness meditation practice with his students as he finds it helps them focus and manage stress and emotions like anger, frustration, sadness and anxiety. I did not hone in on the ADHD part; however Mr. Pit Bull (who himself has some ADHD) said the text was useful with his general population of students. He feels the exercises offered in the book are a great way to introduce kids to the concepts and benefits of mindfulness practice.
