Jan 6th, 2017. I have just received this scale. Its appearance is as expected, although a bit larger than other scales that I am accustomed to. I am using a Galaxy Note 4, Android OS. As per the instructions that came with the scale, I did the QR scan and loaded the software. I could not find it in the Google Play Store apps. I could not follow the instructions to set up bluetooth, so I simply went to settings, bluetooth, scanned and found the device, although it would not pair. I kept getting a message "cannot communicate with device". However, when I opened the app, it did seem to connect, so it seems that is a non problem.I have major doubts as to the accuracy, since simply moving the scale on a flat tile floor from one tile to the next resulted in different readings, even though each tile was larger than the scale itself If left on the same tile, ignoring the first reading, it mostly gave the same readings with subsequent tests, i.e, up to a half dozen. If it were more consistent, I would have added a star. I am less concerned with the precision of each test as I am with the continuity from day to day, so that relative weight losses or gains can be determined. I will only get a handle on this with more use.Note: since writing the above, I find the reading, even when not moving the scale from its position on one tile for days, the the weight reading will vary each morning. Although I don't find the variance more than other digital scales I have, I find this disappoint. I simply weigh myself several time and record the reading that seems to be the average.I happen to prefer to have the scale read in kg instead of lbs. The switch on the scale itself works fine to select one or the other. However, [contrary to what others have reported] in the app I can only see English measurements and find no way to change them to metric. I am fluent enough in either, but my family members are only fluent in metric, so I find this a negative. If I can find a way to change measurements in the app to metric, I would add a star.For the price, I find it as good as any ordinary scale I have had. If it proves with time to have more stable readings and if I can determine how to change measurements in the app between English and Metric, I would give it 4 Stars and be a lot more content with this scale.May, 2017 Four month after purchase: I have come to like this scale and app a lot, but as of the last few days, I get a message when opening the app "com.Hiitee. Unfortunately, Hiitee Enjoy Health has stopped working" I can no longer find the app in Google Store to reload it, nor can I remember how I scanned the app when I originally installed it. I cannot find Hiitee customer support. At the moment it looks like I now have a digital scale, not a digital smart scale.

This item came sooner than expected but I was soon disappointed. The scale itself is somewhat cheap looking. I had to keep "jiggling" the included batteries to finally make the display work. The quick start card gives you a QR code to download the app. Once the app was downloaded, all I got was the Hiitee logo...nothing happened after that!!!!! The app would not open!!! I even tried downloading from the App Store directly. Sending this item back!

Where do I begin.....purchased this back in September. From the moment I stepped on the scale , the thing did not work! I know what I weigh..so when I stepped onto the scale and saw that I miraculously lost 35 pounds over night, I knew something was seriously flawed! I stepped off and on for 15 min and received aprx 10 different readings each time! Save your money this scale is the worst piece of crap I ever purchased!@! And no - it is not me - my husband and sister and friend had same ridiculous readings! I wish I could get my money back!@! Nothing worse than trying to be healthy and getting bent over!!!!!

This is a piece of junk. It gave 5 different readings over a 10 minute period with a 7 lb weight range. Also, the app doesn't allow you to register. It asks for login info instead of new user info. There's no way to add it. A complete and total waste. I would return it but my husband threw out all the packaging thinking that it worked. Extremely disappointed.

Arrived defective which sucks because I was extremely excited to use it after reading reviews. :/ also the app they tell you to download is in Chinese.

Like 5 star review much friends. Can no tell it company giving review. Needs learn English sentencing structure. Yes buy! Return to sender guaranteed. No worth.

Does not work. There is not app to go with it as the photos show. I was extremely disappointed. I have no idea how to get the thing to work or how to use the app because there were no instructions of any sort included.

I would give this ZERO stars if possible. The app doesn't work. I kept getting the error message "JSON Analyzing Error". Therefore, many features of the scale are not accessible without the app. I am returning it.
