So this thing beeps all the time and there is now documentation on what it means, it would be nice to put it on silence mode, in think it means that the ice is full. Besides that after we flushed it many times probably 15 gal of water and a few gal of vinegar to clean out the new plastic taste, it works amazing. I cannot stress enough how wonderful it is to have this thing running off a 5 or 3 gallon jug to provide hot/cold/room temp water and make the ice.

After waiting the 24 hours we plugged it in and added a water bottle to the top. Followed the brief instructions (poor translation from Chinese to English) and nothing worked. The hot and cold indicator lights kept flashing, never became steady per the instructions. No hot water. No cold water. The ice maker did fill up, but never made ice. Returned it the next day. And after reading other reviews, some customers must have received a good unit, but others did not. Another flaw, according to reviews, the ice compartment is not refrigerated so the ice melts and you need to keep draining the "sewage" outlet. Terrible name.

convenient machine that's working well so far. the machine is designed to stop making ice when ice area floods with water(all ice melted.) there's a drain plug on the back to empty it, but I've found that if you catch it early enough just turn the ice feature off then back on and it will recycle the water by itself. of course after purchase, Amazon advertises similar item for less... used a float valve(link below) connected to a perfect fitting dish added to top of fountain with a pie plate covering that with added weight on top to hold the float down. connect to 1/4 inch plastic tubing line (recommended float below comes with1/4inch connection)from filtered tap water to continuously fill machine. all ice machines dependability varies: so 4 stars.https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B087JQ13S6/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_search_asin_title?ie=UTF8&psc=1it seems the advice to turn ice feature off and then back on to reset flooded ice area works best if you turn off the cold water feature(ice bucket will drop immediately) until the first set of ice is made(or until the flooded water is below a certain level)6/2021 purchased. update 8/22: ice maker stopped. bucket won't drop down to fill with water. will see if there's anything i can do to fix.

I liked the size and color of the water dispenser. The added benefit of an ice maker is overshadowed by the fact that it makes very loud beeping noises (especially in the middle of the night) that cannot be turned off. Also there is no manual to try to find instructions on how to turn it off. The ice cubes are hollow in the middle and tend to melt really fast. I finally gave up and turned the icemaker off so I could sleep at night. The extra $150.00 that I paid for the extra icemaker was a waste of money. I would recommend sticking to just a water cooler.
