This is a very good book. It is well written and clear and easy to understand. What a help! The author covers so much material, lots that a new investor needs to know. I was always wondering where one keeps gold and how to calculate the rate of return. He’s covered all that and more. He tells you how to make money and gold, and of course how to sell it. I think as the author writes in the book Gold should still be a part of a person's portfolio of investment at this time, a fact that a lot of people overlook.This book is very helpful in educating even the beginner on everything which is important to invest in this precious metal.

It is beneficial for anyone who is thinking about investing in gold.

Great book for people who are thinking of investing in gold. Overly informative, I feel this book spells out nicely all the positives for gold trading (though it should be called investing) but not necessarily all the pit-falls of gold either. Personally, gold is something more of an ornamental investment, not something that will make tons of money. Yes, a small percentage of an individual's portfolio should be held in gold, jewelry I prefer, but as an investment that will some day mature and be sold, traded away, not so good. Collect gold coins (these if purchased properly can actually yield great wealth over time), little gold bars, etc.; it is fun and impressive. But as an investment, gold over all is perhaps the worst.

Write over 7 chapters, the book is an interesting read that provides step-by-step instruction on how to invest in Gold. the mistakes to avoid, calculating the rate of return, taking the tax into consideration, and how to protect yourself against gold scams. The bonus section on how to sell silver is equally important. Highly recommended.

A very clear account for a novice investor. The author has written it for complete beginners and as such it includes basic and practical advice. What to buy. Why not to waste on historical gold coins and how you won’t make profit if you buy gold jewellery. Gold has been the original store of wealth since ancient times, so why not now? A word of caution. Don’t tell anyone if you’re hoarding gold at home.

I know quite a bit about trading and gold myself. That's why the general information was something I already knew and seemed repetitive to me. However, if you are a beginner at trading this book would be great for you.
