Hello, I don’t usually do these, but I figured it would help out the next new aquatic turtle owner. Normally, I would clean the tank by syphoning the water into a bucket and dumping it outside like Im sure a lot of people do. However, I just moved to Seattle and now live on the sixth floor and can’t just dump it. I also hated the idea of dumping it in the tub because that’s where I clean my body. That’s when I discovered this awesome siphon. This siphon attaches to your water facet and uses the force of the water to pump tank water down the sink. It also can reverse the flow and pump water into the tank from the facet so you don’t really have to worry about water getting everywhere! It’s fast and clean.

This aquarium siphon hose is just what we needed. It is high quality, price was good and worked for what we needed. We were without power for 24 hours during torrential rain and our sump pump was overflowing. My husband bought this to siphon water from the sump pump to keep our basement from flooding. The design/long hose worked great.

I'm pretty happy with this siphon. We got it to clean our in-ground small man-made Pond it worked very well. Once we got it going it was easy to use. Love the option it has to reverse the flow to get clogs out. Overall very happy with it did not experience any leaking issues as reported I was not concerned about that anyway as it is being used outside

The media could not be loaded. Work great and makes it very easy for water change time. It is very slow and has weak suction though I thought I’d mention that. I initially let my faucet run while it was draining to give it better suction and make it go faster but it quickly flooded my bathroom floor while I wasn’t paying attention. Once it gets started you can turn the faucet off and it’ll continue but it’s more like a get it going and go do other household tasks for like 20-30 minutes depending on tank size and how much water you want to remove but this is just fine for me. Water refilling is much faster and very convenient.

Works amazing. Should have got this a lot sooner. Makes cleaning the tank a breeze and very little cleanup. If you are hesitant, don’t be. BUY IT!

TRASH! It leaks no matter what attachment you use, it works fine to refill a tank from the sink but if you want to drain water from your fish tank? Not with this! I have tried everything to get it to siphon water from the fish tank and it won’t. It’s useless. I’ve messaged the seller twice asking for help but they don’t bother responding, they don’t care. So unless you only want this to fill your tank and never drain it, go for it! Otherwise it’s trash.

Tremendously easy to use with a garden hose. Everything is there! Simple, thorough, and effortless. No need to hook up to the faucet. I used the hose attachment and ran the waste water out to the driveway, then reversed the process and ran fresh water from the garden hose, back through the same hookup that emptied the aquarium. Treated the water, heated it properly and returned the fish to their clean home. Never want an easier, thorough way to change water for a clean aquarium!

The fittings that were included did not fit my sink and I have a standard sink. So I tried the outside fitting for the outside hose and it did fit. The other fitting did fit that, but it also floods were ever you put it, like if you plug it outside that's where all the water that you're sucking in is going to flood. So it's great if you are refilling water because then there's no water coming out, but if you are cleaning or emptying the water, there's no attaching anything to this. It shoots the water out the dirty water. There's nothing to clip on it, you can't put anything on it to like direct your water to somewhere else. So when I was doing my pond, it was just flooding, absolutely flooding the area because it's actually clean water that's coming out with the dirty water so you're basically wasting a ton of water. Because you can't even direct to the gutter, you can't direct the water to your plants. You know, nothing can connect to it. It's absolutely stupid. But I mean it does do that if you don't mind it flooding right there. Or if you have a sink that it fits. But I don't think it fits standard sinks.
