My daughter loves it
This book has been very helpful at giving my daughter patterns and instructions for making such cute animals! I highly recommend!

Adorable patterns
I really wanted to give this 5 stars but I can’t. These patterns are adorable but I want to forewarn anyone buying it….I have made 5 of these so far and I have found at least 1 mistake in every pattern. I couple of them I think we’re just “typos” but there were a few that were way off and what was written was impossible to do because there weren’t enough stitches on the row to complete it so I had to modify it. If a beginner was doing these they might have problems. Other than that it’s great!

Cute Stuff- Leaves Out Some Info
I am a beginner and this was a real struggle for me. There are some things that just aren't in here like how to attach pieces and what to do with ends of the yarn. The critters are super cute though and I want to make them all. I'd suggest thinking like a true beginner and adding in some bits for those things. People who don't need that info can skip it but it would be very helpful to real beginners.

Not the best
Cute critters. Too many intrusions on how to hold the yarn, make basic stitches, etc. No instructions on how to attach body parts, eyes and character features. See the picture is not helpful. Why there is such emphasis on keeping stitch count and no instructions on what row and number of stitches between features makes no sense. Better to use a regular arigurumi pattern book. Use heavier weight yarn and hooks. You end up with a better end product. Specific arigurumi techniques are not covered.

Not for beginners!
For a book that is supposed to be geared directly towards beginners this books fails. From asking the crocheter to use the wrong yarn, to completely incorrect numbers of stitches the amount of mistakes is dizzying. I’m not a beginner but I wouldn’t say I am an expert either, and this book confused me in some places. It’s just too important in crochet to follow the pattern to exact specifications for there to be this many mistakes. Would not recommend
