Easily rivals a Bose S1
This is an AMAZING amp! I am a teacher and purchased a Bose S1 and the BP 80 for my orchestra. Though the Bose has a very warm low frequency, the BP80 seems louder, clearer, and crisper than the S1. The analog pots on BP80 are actually better in many ways compared to the digital 'push button' functions on an S1, because you can visually see where the levels are. When on a gig or performance, you have to lean over and double check settings, often in poor lighting, where as the pots you can set and easily see what the levels are. Though I am very happy with the Bose S1, the BP80 rivals the Bose, and you can get two BP80's for less than the price of one S1. I had a professional violinist who has the Bose try it, and she was VERY impressed. Highly recommend. Delivered quickly, ships in a very sturdy container.

Great system, great company
I purchased the Coolmusic BP80 from Amazon on March 30, 2023 and was thrilled with it. It was everything I had hoped for in a small, portable light weight battery operated amplifier. Plugged in two mics, keyboard and guitar and it was a solid great sounding system.Twenty-five months later it developed what I can only describe as an override problem (loud screeching followed by a momentary loss of sound) so I eamiled Coolmusic directly. With absolutely NO pushback whatsoever they instructed Amazon to send me a brand-new amp.I highly recommend the BP80 system AND the Coolmusic customer service team (Sunny in particular) and remain VERY impressed with both.Sincerely Alan Freitas.

Don’t hesitate to click “buy now”….
I have the BP-80. It’s a great amp at a great cost. I use it for my guitar and also use it as a personal monitor for my keyboard. The seller has great customer service. I contacted them concerning a small issue I had with the amp. They handled my situation in a timely manner.

Cool Music BP80. Great choice!
How cool is that? I was looking for a battery-operated amplifier for playing on the street or as a second amp to create a stereo to my gear when playing in bigger venues. The BP-80 by CoolMusic (www.coolmusic-tech.com) provided me with everything I needed and much more. It is a complete 2-channel system with two inputs per channel, 100 watts of power, an 8-inch woofer, a 3-inch tweeter, low, mid, and high Eq., reverb on both channels, and chorus on one channel. The system has a Direct Out, comes with an output for headphones, and in and out 3.5 mm jack inputs for recording or playing with a cellphone or mp3 device. It has a switch for shutting off the speakers and a 48-volt switch for condenser mics. Additionally, it has a USB input and controls at the interface for start/pause, return, and forward. Perfect for playing music at a party. The system's sound is crystal clear with a good frequency response and range.I highly recommend the BP-80 by Cool Music for its flexibility and sound quality. Additionally, the Cool Music customer service is cool indeed. If you need anything, they are loyal to reply and help you.

Boss Cube’s Chinese Made Cousin…
Owned the old school Roland Taxi rechargeable amp which was guitar-specific. Went through one battery replacement and several years good use.Fast forward to the Boss Cube Street X 50 watt ($599) vs Cool Music’s (CM BP80-100 watt ($212, with Amazon discount coupon).CM reportedly offers 20, 40, 80, and 100 watt models. The BP80 gives 4 inputs- an XLR and 3 quarter inch jacks. Channel 1 gives basic adjustments and reverb. Channel 2 gives adjustments and Chorus/Reverb. For gigs without electric power the CM BP80 lets me connect a mic and acoustic guitar to channel 1. Channel 2 has an electric guitar/Boss RCB 3 pedal case (pedals take 9 volt batteries), and a Beat Buddy drum pedal (via generator in case of overall emergencies). You could do other instrument combinations, play with it, try/experiment with a line splitter, or get two BP 80’s to cover a small busking band.As with other reviews, CM amps have a nice clean sound for a battery-powered unit. Perhaps a lower wattage (20 or 40) CM unit could be overdriven for electric guitar (?). The BP 80’s got too much power, unless you can take it somewhere in the open to crank it though doubtful. The BP 80’s blue tooth feature is idiot proof- push the button and pair with your iPhone. Used the BP 80 for two small gigs so far- volume set at 12 o’clock and still lots of juice left. Probably best to let the charge run down before renewing. Lithium ion batteries last longer when nearly empty and then charged up. Cabinet/quality of the unit overall looks solid. Time will tell how long it’ll last.Orange cabinet color reminds me of blaze orange shirts/hats for hunting. Maybe I could use the amp for automated turkey or bird calls. The color may help prevent damage from errant hunting shots. Maybe it could withstand a carefully placed 22 LR round…

Updated: This is the system for a solo player or a small group
I've only had this for a couple of weeks, but I think it's safe to say that I love it. I have gigged it once, and I've taken it to a bluegrass jam. The unit performs flawlessly. Take some time and dial in your sound and it will really sing. I was a bit skeptical but hooked my Yamaha piano to it and it sounded really good- nice and loud with a balanced tone. It is an excellent acoustic guitar amplifier. I have added a set of wireless rechargeable mics and once again, dial in the tone and it reproduces your vocal very well. The price is amazing for the utility. I think it can come close enough to the far more expensive comparables. The Bluetooth function works flawlessly, it's a great for karaoke or backing tracks for your solo gig. LOVE the battery power and not having to worry with outlets and cords. I plan to add a wireless guitar set up along with a set of in ear monitors. Very pleased, and can't wait to get my whole set-up going! This Cool Music unit is a game changer for me. UPDATED: i’ve now had it for about four months or so. I have recorded with it in my home studio. I used it at my daughter‘s wedding last week for PA and playing music during the reception. It is an absolute jewel.
