BRIKSMAX Led Lighting Kit for The Disney Castle - Compatible with Lego 71040 Building Blocks Model- Upgraded Version with Remote Control - Not Include The Lego Set

These lights are beautiful, but it took alot of time to install and the instructions were not a detailed as I would have likes, lots of pictures but no detail as to where to hide wires, term boards and battery pack.

This is a complete waste of money. The instructions don’t make any sense because the interpretation is incorrect (not originally done in English). It was missing a wire in the kit, but I never could get it to work. It was a complete waste of money. Don’t buy it! I would do zero stars if it would let me.

This thing was an endeavor and I had to walk away a few times to get in a better mood. It's not the kits fault because I couldn't think of any other way to do it better. The instructions are decent and everything was packaged and labeled perfectly. Be prepared to break the castle once or twice.

Multiple tiny LED lights, wires, small boards, and double sided tape bits to add life to your LEGO Disney Castle!Well packaged with multiple small ziplocs containing the required items. The instructions are good, but not terribly intuitive. DEFINITELY watch the install video - there is one just by searching BRIKSMAX. Even shows all the part numbers and how they tuck the wires for install. Final product really makes the Disney Castle shine (pun intended)!GOOD:Wires and LEDs are tiny. They can be squeezed between bricks to really make them unobtrusive - not completely aligned, but I wouldn't want to sever a wire accidentally. Instructions are a good balance between hiding the wires mostly from view, and the pain it would be to hide them completely. I bet if one was sufficiently motivated, they could make the wires even more discrete than the instructions show. I was not that person. Lights are really BRIGHT! I used the USB adapter to power my lights from a rechargeable battery pack, and it worked great! Have not tried the AA battery pack option as BRIKSMAX says its not as good an option. Extra LEGO pieces (just a few) that were required for this install are included, and are REAL LEGO! Nice touch! The addition of "uplighting" to the outside of the castle is pretty inspired! Look like real floodlights! Would be nice to add just a few more parts to dress up the lights a little. Love that there's adjustable flicker for Lumiere!Not so good:Like others have said, this can be a tough install. It will take time and effort. If you are afraid to take apart your LEGO, maybe look for easier options. Some of the install instructions leave some messy wire bundles near the junction boards. I think with a little more forethought, this can be optimized. I'm a wire organization nut and this bothers me, but it is out of sight on casual inspection. Like I mentioned above, for absolute nuts, it should be possible to make the wires and boards nearly undetectable. The included double stick tape pads are nice, but I've never had great success with these. Some of the tiny LEDs seem to keep coming off of them. If it works for most people, great! But including alternative DIY suggestions would be helpful. Lights are BRIGHT! This is great, but an option to dim would be great. Also like others have said, the colored flashy lights flash a little too fast for my taste. While there is a little dial controller than controls speed of the flash (at least for Lumiere, and I think maybe for the colored lights), it's still too fast and distracting. I disconnected mine in the end. I think BRIKSMAX may sell an upgraded version with remote, maybe that has more customization.TLDR: This is a fun(*) hands on way of really making your LEGO Disney Castle really shine! Takes time and significant effort, but the end result is really great. Watch the install video to decide if you want to engage in this endeavor. Also far less expensive I think than the brick replacement alternatives, that supply you with LED bricks rather than tiny LEDs. Great bang for the buck! Do wish there was more lighting adjustment modes (i.e. dimming, flash/pulse interval).(*) - if you are not afraid to disassemble and run tiny wires through your set.

This lighting kit brings Cinderella's Castle to life and gives it that little bit extra. A little difficult to put in but worth it.

Attempted to assemble the lights onto the train station and then troubleshoot why the lights did not work for a total of 3 hours before light assembly started breaking! The light kit for the castle was bought also; decided not to even attempt it after this fiasco!

I'll start this review by mentioning this kit was sent to me free of charge by the manufacture, Briksmax. Overall the building experience was fairly enjoyable. It definitely took longer than I had expected but I feel the end result was worth it. This makes for a great display piece and the lighting kit is a great addition to this lego set. I was also fortunate enough to have a replacement sent for a wire that wasn't working.

Very advanced install skill needed

The media could not be loaded.  Took a while as quite fiddly due to size of connectors but overall result fantastic. Had a slight problem with the sound but this was resolved with contact with the seller who responded quickly to all all mails. Will definitely purchase more in the future

Le istruzioni sono pessime , i fili sono molto delicati e se sbagli ad inserirli ( molto facile visto le istruzioni pessime) , se ne sono rotti 3 lasciando una parte del castello in blackout , la musica non funziona …..

Die Beleuchtungselemente sind gut verarbeitet und das Lego Disneyschloss wird dadurch noch einmal aufgewertet. Ich habe erstmalig ein Set mit Fernbedienung gewählt, weil ich das einmal ausprobieren wollte und muss sagen, dass mir die Bedienungsmöglichkeiten gut gefallen. Daneben ist das Set auch mit Musik ausgestattet, ebenfalls per Fernbedienung steuerbar. Es gibt 3 Musikstücke zur Auswahl, die auf einer Micro SDCard gespeichert sind. Die Musik ist allerdings Geschmackssache. Man kann sie zum Glück auch ausgeschaltet lassen. Die Anleitung zum Einbau ist per Bebilderung gut beschrieben und lässt sich dadurch einfach umsetzen. Bei Steinen, Platten etc., unter denen Kabel durchzuführen sind, habe ich mir inzwischen angewöhnt, mittels Cuttermesser Kerben einzuschnitzen, damit die Kabel nicht abgeklemmt werden, denn das kann zum Ausfall der Beleuchtung führen. Außerdem können auf diese Weise die Steine wieder richtig festgedrückt werden. Das Legomaterial eignet sich gut zu diesem Prozedere. Gäbe es noch eine Möglichkeit, eigene Musikstücke zu speichern, würde ich dem Set 5 Sterne geben. Aber dazu fehlt leider eine Anleitung.

Le rendu est superbe, je suis fan !Tout est livré dans une boîte, chaque élément différent dans un sachet numéroté. Livré avec une pince pour aider à tout connecter.Il suffit de suivre les instructions, être très attentif et délicat et prendre le temps de bien respecter chaque étape.Cela met vraiment en valeur le château !Bravo
