First, I have repaired numerous controllers and replaced many shells over the years. The reason I bought this was it is the shade of green I was looking for and it was supposed to come with tools which it didn't (fortunately I did have tools on hand from prior builds, it would have been nice to have had this extra set though)So color being spot on, assembly is straight forward and everything went together like it should, I kept the factory buttons in however as I didn't care to make it look like just one big lump of green, plus the factory ones contrast nicely with the green.The electronics fit nicely and are not loose at all, however, the following is what I found with this brand of shell.You can see on the right stick that the rubber cover has a cut ( v notch ) this is how it came to me.The plastic shell is very thin and definitely not likely to be as durable as others that I have used.Fitment is poor with several gapping issues and overhanging edges as shown in the photos especially where the side rails are concerned.Cost wasn't bad, however, for a few bucks more you can get a much more durable shell with no gapping issues and much better fitment.Overall I would not buy this brand again due to the poor fitment of the shell, nor can I recommend it from a durability aspect either, unless, you are an adult and not likely to abuse your controller that is.My personal opinion is save your money and buy a better quality shell replacement.Update:After a few days and numerous hours of gaming, I have found several sharp edges that are from the overhanging and gapping that I found upon installation especially in the area of the grips. During gameplay these dig into your hand and after some time get quite uncomfortable. Additionally there are sharper edges in the area of the triggers on both sides.These issues are prompting a a full teardown and I will attempt to refine these edges by using some very fine wet sandpaper. As thin as this plastic shell is a more aggressive response would not be advised in refining the areas mentioned.At the start of this review I gave it a 2 star rating, only because the electronics fit nicely. Having to fully tear down this controller and correct sharp edges which will lead to more gapping drops this to a 1 star product.

AXBY buttons are too short in the middle of the back so they can't make connections with the board. If I were to use them I'd have to press Soo hard to get it to register. The shell is fine and works well. But the buttons are bad. I put back the original buttons and it works perfectly. So these are defective.

Not really worth buying feels very cheap if not used to taking apart a controller then really don't waste your time and money...

The case fit as expected, however the screw holes weren't threaded fully. I had to run the screws through the faceplate screw holes first before putting it on the controller. Everything else worked as expected and feels okay.Note this product is for the xbox one s controller (model 1708) only. It will not fit on any other model.
