Good control
A bit slower but gives me good control. I use it on my backhand and has worked well for my playing style. Good value at this price point.

Winner!
I've tried all sorts of rubbers on my journey to a USATT rating of 1950, from Tibhar Evolution series to Donic Bluefire to Butterfly Tenergy. The Mark V, despite being the cheapest of them all, is a good all-round rubber. It's the slowest I've played with but on the other hand, it gives me excellent control and I've been able to place my blocks very effectively. You can hit loops with this rubber but they won't be as spinny as one of the tensor rubbers (Evolution, Tenergy, etc.).I actually found the best combination for me is a very fast blade with a slower rubber like Butterfly Viscaria + Mark V, or the opposite: a slower all-wood blade with a faster rubber like Stiga Ebenholz + Tibhar Evolution. That said, you don't have to replace your blade every 2-3 months but you do replace your rubbers. Given that the Mark V is a good $20 per rubber cheaper than Evolution/etc., it's a winner in my book.I'm going to try Rakza 7 next- similarly low price point but let's see how that fares against Mark V/Evolution/Tenergy.
