I ordered this knife block because I needed a quick solution. My old one broke and seeing my knives laying around was just not the option. I wanted to step away from the usual design and found this one. Thinking it will either be flimsy or cheap looking, I was / am very surprised to see that it in fact it is the opposite. It is very sturdy and it looks great. The style in my kitchen is slightly industrial, so that caged look fits perfectly and on top for an amazingly great prize. Thumbs way up for this one
